(KJV) THEME: Encouraging the Elders While Preparing the Young, I John 2:14 (NLT) Church-Wide Worship Service Sunday, March 18, 2018: The Pastor will deliver the message for the First Anniversary of Pastor Tavarius Henderson today, March 18, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at the St. Elizabeth Baptist Church (256.259.6501) located at 210 Walnut Street in Scottsboro, Alabama 35768. The Unity Choir will provide the song service. Dinner will be served before the worship service begins. Church transportation will leave from the Church parking lot immediately following the 10:45 a.m. worship service (12:30 p.m.). Sunday School Ministry: If you are between the ages of 25 to 39 and are not presently enrolled in a Sunday School class, and you would be interested in coming to Sunday School if there was a class specifically for your age group. We invite you to please sign up at the Welcome Center today immediately following the 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. worship services. Effective immediately---for the safety of the congregation, doors entering the building on the back, east and west sides will be locked 30 minutes after the start of the 7:45 a.m. Worship Service and the 10:45 a.m. Worship Service. If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the respective service has started, you will need to enter the building using the front entrance only. Weekly Meetings/Seminars and Retreats Men s Ministry March 26, 2018: There will be a Monthly Men's Ministry Meeting held on Monday, March 26, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall. The Men s Ministry has been requested to provide support for the Women s/mother s Day Program. We are asking all men to join in providing support for this effort. If you would like to help, please come to the Men s Ministry Meeting. Help is needed in all areas; support teams will be created at the March 26, 2018, Men s Ministry meeting. This trip is tentatively scheduled to depart for Panama City, Florida at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, and return to Huntsville, Alabama at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018. The Spring Christian Education Conference will be held beginning Monday- Wednesday, April 16-18, 2018. This conference is designed for ALL generations. Millennial Trip to D.C. May 17-20, 2018: The Millennial Ministry will be taking a trip to Washington D.C. from May 17-20, 2018. The ministry will be visiting the African American History Museum. Faith-Based Fellowship Friday, March 23, 2018: The Millennial Ministry (ages 18-38) is excited to announce their first Monthly Faith-Based Fellowship Night (#FBFNight) on Friday, March 23, 2018, from 6:00 7:30 p.m. Millennials will come together to worship God and discuss real topics affecting their age group from a biblical prospective.
