IS JESUS GOD? There are many so-called Christians who deny the Deity of our Lord. Well, as long as they believe in Jesus, what s so terrible about that? If Jesus isn t God, then NO ONE IS SAVED. If He ISN T God, then He couldn t have RISEN FROM THE DEAD (Romans 10:9). If He ISN T God, He CANNOT GUARANTEE your Salvation, nor save you to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:25).
If Jesus isn t God, then He COULD NOT have redeemed mankind, for the simple reason that He COULD NOT reconcile and JOIN the human nature and the God Nature IN HIMSELF. Sin separated man from God. It took A TOTAL MAN, who is ALSO TOTALLY GOD, to REUNITE THE TWO (2 Corinthians 5:19). That s why Jesus Himself said in John 8:24: UNLESS you believe that I AM THE LIVING GOD (Yahweh, or the anglicized Jehovah, meaning I AM ), YOU SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS. Jesus is 100% man and 100% God. The Scriptures teach that, from cover to cover: 2 Corinthians 5:19 God was IN CHRIST reconciling the world UNTO HIMSELF, not counting men s sins against them Psalms 110:1 The Lord said to my Lord: sit at my Right Hand until I make your enemies your footstool. Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His Shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, THE MIGHTY GOD, The Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Matthew 1:23 Behold a virgin shall conceive, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His Name Emmanuel, which translated means GOD with us. Revelation 5:13 Jesus [the human manifestation of the Father] receives the same glory and WORSHIP as the Father, right along with Him: And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea... I heard saying: BLESSING, AND HONOR, AND GLORY, AND POWER BE UNTO HIM THAT SITS ON THE THRONE AND UNTO THE LAMB FOR EVER AND EVER. John 5:16-18 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. In his defense Jesus said to them, My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working. For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, MAKING HIMSELF EQUAL WITH God. Philippians 2:5-7

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto Him, MY LORD AND MY GOD. Revelation 21:6,7 [Jesus speaking] And he said to me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I WILL BE HIS God, and he shall be my son. Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ. 1 st John 5:20...that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is THE TRUE GOD, AND ETERNAL LIFE. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Hebrews 1:8
But to the Son He (God) says, YOUR THRONE, O GOD, is forever and ever... (See also Psalm 45:6). Romans 9:5: Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, WHO IS God OVER ALL, forever praised! Amen. The word used for God in all these verses is theos in Greek, which unequivocally refers to THE Supreme God or Supreme Deity. The one common thread shared by all cults and false religions is DENYING THAT JESUS IS GOD. Sinful men say He s not God. God the Father says that Jesus, the Son, is GOD. Whom are you going to believe, God or man? -------------- The God who created the UNIVERSE, the ONE AND ONLY, ALMIGHTY God, who LOVES YOU SO MUCH that He came IN HUMAN FORM TO DIE FOR YOUR SINS, WANTS TO LIVE IN YOUR HEART.
