ORDER FOR THE WORSHIP OF GOD

Dear brothers and sisters,

Transcription:

Psalm 96:1-13 1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. 3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

Psalm 96:1-13 4 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. 6 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary. 7 Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

Psalm 96:1-13 8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. 9 Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. 10 Say among the nations, The LORD reigns. The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.

Psalm 96:1-13 11 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. 12 Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy. 13 Let all creation rejoice before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.

I will praise you, Lord

Deuteronomy 8:1-20 Do Not Forget the LORD 1 Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the LORD promised on oath to your ancestors. 2 Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. 3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.

Deuteronomy 8:1-20 4 Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. 5 Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you. 6 Observe the commands of the LORD your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. 7 For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; 8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; 9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.

Deuteronomy 8:1-20 10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you. 11 Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. 12 Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, 13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, 14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

Deuteronomy 8:1-20 5 He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. 16 He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you. 17 You may say to yourself, My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me. 18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Deuteronomy 8:1-20 19 If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. 20 Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God.

MAKE US A GODLY NATION By Steven Paul McCollum

MAKE US A GODLY NATION By Steven Paul McCollum We Christians in (Australia) have watched our country change Have stood by in complacency as it morally decays We ve seen our liberty turn to license where sin is justified We know history proves a nation falls when it s deceived by lies

Make us a Godly Nation Lord, take back our land Holy Spirit move upon the hearts Of every woman, child and man Father, keep your hand upon us And bless this great country As we humble ourselves, seek your face and pray Make us a Godly Nation

We ve forgotten all the blessings You bestowed on us And we ve taken for granted your mercy and your love Why do we sit back and shake our heads as if there s nothing we can do When we should be down on our knees crying out to you.

Make us a Godly Nation Lord, take back our land Holy Spirit move upon the hearts Of every woman, child and man Father, keep your hand upon us And bless this great country As we humble ourselves, seek your face and pray Make us a Godly Nation

Oh hear us lord and Make us a Godly Nation Lord, take back our land Holy Spirit move upon the hearts of every woman, child and man Father, keep your hand upon us And bless this great country As we humble ourselves, seek your face and pray Make us a Godly Nation

Father, make us a Godly Nation Save our Nation Lord

A Great Nation is: 1. A GRATEFUL Nation (Deut 8:2) 2. A GODLY Nation (Deut 8:6) 3. A GLORIFYING Nation (Deut 8:10)
