You are the Prophet of your own Life: By I. Tanaka Prophet: Means = A person who speaks by divine inspiration or as the interpreter through whom the will of a god is expressed. I.) Being a prophet : Man or Woman called by God. Listening to God for guidance, and direction. We are all prophets in our lives. What we speak effects our lives, and direction. God has given all free will, and to rule and reign in Christ. This goes back from the Book of Genesis in the Garden of Eden. God has paid the price already through Jesus Christ. Now it is us it given to us. But we must claim it for ourselves. In order to know what belongs to us. We each have been given a Map. And that is Map is the Bible. But Also need a guide to our Maps and that is the Holy Spirit. Just like citzens in this world we all been given rights. But we don t know our right until read and know about our right. This is the same with us Christian. We need to read the Bible and listen to the holy spirit for guidance. Scripture : 6My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:1-19 (Being a Christian is just the first step. The second is to know who we are.) Now as being Prophets: Know what we say!!!! Important!! Scripture: Proverbs 18:21 (King James Version) = Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 6:2 (King James Version) =Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. Mt.12:37. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Our words change situations in our lives. Ex: I know a story of a person who had smoking problem. Went through pray lines and never being healed

2.) Another story of a woman who was dying in her bed keep saying. II. Putting Faith and Words together: This causes change: We become Christians by words. Romans 10:8 (King James Version) 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Most of the time are own word get us in trouble, and cause to be in the same situation than what we want to be. Reason is we believe in our circumstance more than what we believe what God says. Matthew 13:57-58 (King James Version) And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. 1.) Jesus was not excepted because of his home town and neighbor etc. 2.) Jesus could not do any miracles because the unbelief. no faith EX: I was believing for a house once. I made the mistake by sharing my what I was praying about Lesson I learn was not to share your vision or pray. Because of the unbelief can hinder your pray. Did you know that? 3 important thing in changing circumstances in pray. 1.) You must have Faith 2.) You must believe in what you are staying 3.) Then Stand until it comes. Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O He.4:14. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

III. Be careful who you hang around with. We become who we hang around with. This is a truth statement: Proverbs 22:24 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, Words Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. It is not a coincidence that spoken Words and the meditation of our heart are in the same verse and that they must both be acceptable in God s sight. All through the Bible there is reference to what is in the heart and what comes out of your mouth. I often talk about faith and speaking faith, and how important it is to have our words line up with God s Word. God is a Spirit and He created all physical substance with His spoken Word using the substance of faith. God always had the faith to create the universe, didn t He? But the universe wasn t created until God spoke it into existence. God has given us the authority to create with our mouth speaking His Word. God releases His faith by speaking. He set this spiritual law into existence. Ro.10:8. But what does it say? The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart (that is, the word of faith which we preach); 9. because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10. For man believes with his heart and so is justified, and he confesses with his lips and so is saved. I would like to spend some time talking about the parable of the sower. Without the sower, as the Word says how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard. The sower sows the seed that produces God s blessings. In this age we have the greatest privilege that any group of believers has ever had, we get to hear the Word everywhere. It s on television, radio, tapes, the internet, and faith comes by hearing.

Romans 10:17. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But we have to release it, or it not going to do us any good. It has to be released by sowing the words of our mouth. The seed is already in our heart, it comes from hearing and meditating in Gods Word. The sooner you release it: the better. Keep releasing it keep speaking faith. That s what I want to talk about, the importance of our words in releasing our faith. When we speak faith filled words, the substance that is faith, changes the physical surroundings or conditions around us or in us. We don t always see it, just like we wouldn t always see seeds in the ground growing, but they re in the soil growing just the same, but you have to plant them in order for them to take root and grow and produce. For example. You could buy a bag of grass seed, keep in your garage and never sow it. The seed is good, yet grass can not be produced from the seed while it is setting in the bag in your garage can it? You have to sow it into fertile soil in order for it to produce grass. There is another thing about the seed itself that I want you to think about, it s not the size of the seed that is important, It is what the seed produces that s important! The genetic make up of a particular seed is inherent in that particular seed, the seed comes from what ever spawned it, right. The parent plant of what ever plant produced the seed is what that seed is going to become. So the size of the seed doesn t matter does it? It s the kind of seed that matters! Sequoia seeds produce giant trees that are the largest plants on earth. Think of this an example. We have all seen acorns, and we know acorns produce oak trees. We don t need a coconut sized acorn to get a bigger oak tree, do we? We don t need bigger seeds. The Word of God is sufficient to produce what it is planted to grow. We only need acorns and fertile soil if we are going to grow oak trees! Gods Word is the seed. It will produce after it s own kind. His word never returns void. Gods Word is life. Life produces life. So you sow life and you will reap life, if you sow death and you will reap death. That truly is a sobering thought! As Pr. 6:2 says, You are snared by the words of your mouth. That s the negative side of it. The positive side is life.

Mt.12:37. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Jesus compared faith to a grain of mustard seed. A very small seed. Mt. 17:20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, `Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Mk.11:12. Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. And when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14. In response Jesus said to it, "Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.'' And His disciples heard it 20. Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.'' 22. So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, `Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. In this particular passage Jesus was giving a lesson on words. The disciples heard Jesus speak to the fig tree. Peter asked Him about it. Jesus said have faith in God. He was planting a seed right there on the spot, if you think about it. Jesus said, have faith in God. That Word didn t return void did it? We can say that for ourselves. I have faith in God. Jesus said to have it, and I receive it. In this particular passage of scripture, Jesus said say 3 times, and believe only once. So we have to do three times as much saying as we do believing. You could read the 23 rd verse like this, he shall have whatsoever --the words --he speaks Most Christians, at least Christians of the full Gospel persuasion believe Gods Word is true concerning healing and prosperity. Yet, they re constantly talking about what they don t have. Speaking sickness and lack. Don t wait until you

are in a desperate situation to start. Start now! This is not Christian science, this is not mind over matter. This is not ignoring reality, This is embracing reality!!!!!! This is embracing the reality of Gods Word. Start paying attention to what you are saying, our words are seeds, they are what will produce the oak trees or briar patches in your life tomorrow. Mt.12:34: Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35. "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36. "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. This is all tied together, what we hear is what produces the abundance of our hearts, and what we speak out of our mouths is a result of that abundance. De.30:14. But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. Rom:10:8: But what does it say? "The word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart'' (that is, the word of faith which we preach): Rv:12:11: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. He.4:14. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. We are being encouraged to hold on to our confession of faith. Many times we speak the word of faith, and then get discouraged and we start to dwell on the problem instead of the problem solver, the next thing we know we start saying, oh I m not doing so well. This second confession will nullify the first confession of faith, and render it void. In the Greek He.4:14 literally says let us hold fast to saying the same thing. In other words be consistent in what you say. Say the same thing. Regardless of the circumstances, speak the Word of God in faith. Say it, and keep saying it! Never, never give up. It is not always going to be easy. Easy would be to lay down and die. You hear the words of your mouth and that produces faith and you speak it out producing results. I have come to believe a faith confession is a quality decision based on Gods Word and spoken out of your mouth.

When you were born again you made a quality decision. You heard the Word preached, you made the decision to make Jesus the Lord of your life. You confessed with your mouth that Jesus was Lord, and God raised him from the dead for your justification, or something very similar to that, and that s when the miracle of the new birth took place. Even though you had the faith to get saved, if you had not spoken the words, the miracle of the new birth would never have taken place. Pr.12:18. There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, but the tongue of the wise promotes health. This is an awesome revelation, you are not going to have health unless you talk health. Get this revelation into your spirit! Make a quality decision about your health, and speak it into reality. Make a quality decision about your finances and speak it into reality. Make a quality decision about who you are in Christ Jesus and begin to confess it. Confession will bring reality. I m convinced it will. So, don t talk sickness, unless you re wanting sickness. Talk health. Remember, the tongue of the wise is health. If you catch yourself speaking the opposite of what God is saying through His Word, then check up on what you have been feeding your spirit. Feed your spirit with the good Word of God, and then start speaking it back out of your mouth. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. When you have come into a crisis is when you will really find out what is in your heart. You may know people in a crisis situation, and they are being squeezed by the pressures of life, you find out what is really in their heart or spirit, just listen to them and you will hear their hearts abundance. It s kind of like squeezing a tube of toothpaste. Only toothpaste can come out of the tube, right? Why is that? Because only toothpaste is in the tube. This sounds so very simplistic, yet we have missed it big time in the body of Christ!! When there is no toothpaste in the tube we often just can t understand why nothing is coming out. That s because the tube is empty. We blame God, and many will doubt the reality of His Word because they are not getting the kinds of results that God's Word says they should be getting. Therefore these precious promises can't be true can they, after all I m not to blame. God forbid! His Word is true and reliable and can always be depended on. Always!!!!!!

Check up on what is in your heart! Ep.4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. You re one of the hearers. Speaking doubt and unbelief grieves the Holy Spirit. None of us would want to do that deliberately. Yet we often do just that with our words. We speak words that do not edify, and this grieves the Holy Spirit. 2Ti.2:16. But shun profane and vain babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. Ja.3:8. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11. Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12. Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring can yield both salt water and fresh. 13. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. James said it so well I don t think I could even elaborate on it. Other than to say, just, let s be aware of the words of our mouth. We must turn our tongue to God. Our opening Scripture Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. That s a pretty good confession in itself. The Bible tells us to fight, that s about as far as some people get, they want to fight other churches other believers, the pastor, or whoever gets in their way. No, that s not what it is saying. Fight the good fight of faith. 1 Ti. 6:12. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. God s Word works! We should put our total trust in Him. We re often looking for somebody to do something for us, that only Gods Word can do. I can t do it

for you, and you can t do it for me, but we can help each other, and uplift each other, and encourage one another, that s what we should be doing. But in the end you will have to fight your own fight. Just remember that the battle has already been fought and won! The victory is ours in Christ Jesus, so start walking in it and acting like it is true. The circumstances can change, but Gods Word never changes. Our words are so important, we have got to realize this. They are the boundaries of our lives. We can never realize anything beyond the words we speak. We can never rise above our confession. Whether its faith or doubt, we shall have whatsoever we say. Amen Never say you can t. Good Confessions Ph.4:13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Never confess fear. 2 Ti.1:7. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Never confess lack of faith. Ro.12:3. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Never confess weakness. Nehemiah 8:10. Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Never confess lack of strength. Ps.27:1. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Never confess supremacy of Satan over you. 1Jn.4:4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Never confess sickness. Mt. 8:17. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Never confess Worry or frustrations. 1Co.1:3. Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 1Pe.5:7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Never confess bondage. 2Co.3:17. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Never confess condemnation. Ro.8:1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Ro.8:34. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Never confess financial lack. Phil:4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Say these scriptures in the first person. Make these confessions of faith yours, and keep on saying them. But my God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
