St. Vincent de Paul Jubilarian Award St. Vincent de Paul Jubilarian Award has never taken place in our parish. Our conference would like to honor those who have dedicated so much love and time to our mission. The mission of the Jubiliarian Committee is to provide the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences with the format for recognizing and honoring our retired and active members who have devoted themselves to serving the poor with a Jubilarian Crucifix. By wearing this Crucifix, they will continue being a visible sign of God's love. Those Vincentians who are active, inactive or retired and meet the following criteria will be honored: Saint Michael Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Nativity Set Display Our Lady s Sodality Our Lady s Sodality invites parish members to display your nativity sets on the weekend of January 7 and 8, 2017. Nativity sets have been a tradition for many years started by St. Francis of Assisi in 1223. Maybe your nativity set has been handed down from generation to generation or you purchased it in another country or maybe it s a fond memory of a tradition at your family home with mom and dad. Before you put it away for the year, why not share it for all to see. Please bring your nativity sets to the social hall after 3pm on Saturday January 7, 2017. Viewing will begin after the 4pm mass on Saturday and until noon on Sunday, January 8, 2017. You may pick up your nativity sets by noon on Sunday, January 8th. THANK YOU!
