Invitation Porvoo Communion Pastoral Conference 2014 is hosted by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Iceland and will be held in a town of Seltjarnarnes close to the City of Reykjavík. Conference dates are from Thursday 4th of September until Tuesday 9th of September. The theme of this year s conference is Theology and the Environment. Participants are appointed by their national churches and/or associations of clergy. The participants, or the ones sending them, pay the travel to and from Reykjavík (flight + bus trip from the Airport to Reykjavík and from Reykjavík to the Airport). We also ask for a contribution of 250 towards the conference fee. Rooms (accommodation in individual houses), travel during the conference and all the meals are included in this. There is a flybus leaving Keflavík Airport after every flight. The bus goes to Reykjavík Bus terminal. The trip takes about 50 minutes. All the particapants will be picked up from the Bus terminal and taken to the Church of Seltjarnarnes.
