Extra 2017 Mission Mosaic prayer directories, provided by Mennonite Mission Network, are available on the table outside the church office. Nebraska MDS Executive Officers Needed On February 17, 2018, the State of Nebraska Mennonite Disaster Service Board of Directors held its annual meeting. The By-Laws state that the executive officers may only serve three consecutive 3-year terms. The current chair and secretary/treasurer have fulfilled their terms and are not eligible or available to serve again. There were no other board members willing to fill these positions. With this being said the Nebraska MDS Unit cannot function according to the By-Laws. We have reached a point where we need more board members to carry on the mission of MDS at the state level. This notice is being given in search of new board members who would be willing to fill these positions. If none are found the Nebraska MDS Unit will be forced to shut down. If you believe MDS is a valuable mission of the Mennonite Church hopefully there will be some who are willing to serve. If you have any questions, please contact Roy Smith at 402-725-3415 in the evenings or email him at roy.smith_75@yahoo.com. Colored pencils should be boxes of 12 only please and may be left in the basket outside the church office. MCC has added two ballpoint pens and a metal pencil sharpener to the school kits.
