DANIEL 9:24-27 PROPHECY This prophecy of SEVENTY WEEKS concerns the rebuilding of Jerusalem after the captivity of 70 years in Babylon to the FINAL destruction of Jerusalem again in Ad 70. The siege lasted 3½ years and according to Josephus, was cut short unexpectedly. If it had not, no flesh would have been saved. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect s sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:22 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day: Matthew 24:20 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. Mark 13:18. And this is what happened, according to Josephus, the escape of the Christians took place in the early spring, just as our Lord Jesus Christ predicted. Source, The Road to Masada by Josephus And he (our Lord Jesus) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week And in the midst of confirming the covenant in the 70 th week; our Lord Jesus Christ is cut off, by His death on a cross and bodily resurrection, causing the sacrifice and oblation to cease, proving that this is definitely the 70 th week. Seven years according to the prophecy, which included the 3½ years ministry of our Lord Jesus from His baptism to His crucifixion and resurrection; the last 3½ years of the 70 th week covenant, was confirmed by the church at and after Pentecost. The 70th week ended with the Jewish Sanhedrin s final rejection of their Messiah's New Covenant by stoning of Stephen to death in AD37. (See Acts 7:1-60) This completely fulfils the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel s 9:24-27. ACTUAL HISTORY AND FULFILMENT OF THE SEVENTY WEEKS PROPHECY OF DANIEL 9:24-27 1. Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, The history and time period is from the edict given by King Cyrus for the rebuilding of the temple after the captivity in Babylon to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The history recounts the release of the Jews from Babylon back to Jerusalem to rebuild the city and the Sanctuary, to the coming of the Messiah and his sacrifice, and thence to the confirmation of the New Covenant and the final destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD. 2. To finish the transgression, Just before He died on the cross, our Lord Jesus said, It is finished. John 19:30. What was finished? And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, and he was numbered with the transgressors. Mark 15:28, (*See also Psalm 103:12, Isaiah 44:22, 53:5) 3. And to make an end of sins, (The purging of all our sins. See Hebrews 1:1-3) Our Lord Jesus Christ did this by having His holy body broken and His precious sinless blood shed for the remission of all our sins. for without the shedding of blood, there is no remission Hebrews 9:22 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin (means to remove sin completely) by the sacrifice of himself: Hebrews 9:26 See also 1 John 2:1-2 4. And to make reconciliation for *iniquity, (*is lawlessness) For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. Colossians 1:21 (*See also 2 Corinthians 5:19) 5. And to bring in everlasting righteousness, (See 2 Corinthians 5:21) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:21. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Romans 6:22 (See also Philippians 3:9) 6. And to seal up the vision and prophecy, But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: Daniel 12:4 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. Revelation 22:10. The time of the end must be at hand. 1

7. And to anoint the most Holy. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor: Luke 4:18 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38, Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Hebrews 1:9 8. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: (The Messiah was manifested to Israel at his baptism. John 1:30-31) Sixty nine weeks, 483 years to the showing of our Lord Jesus Christ at His baptism and the audible voice from of God our heavenly Father out of heaven saying, This is my beloved Son In whom I am well pleased Matthew 3:17. That was 483 years from the commandment given by Cyrus to rebuild Jerusalem and the Sanctuary. (See Daniel Prophecy diagram) 9. The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in tubulous times. Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an *house (*Temple see Matthew 23:38) at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the *house (*Temple) of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem. Ezra 1:1-3 The rebuild was in tubulous times. See books of Ezra and Nehemiah 10. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off. And after (the seven weeks) and threescore (60) and two weeks (total 69 weeks, 483 years) Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ cut off. About three and a half years after our Lord Jesus Christ s baptism, in the midst of the 70th week, our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified. 11. But not for himself: But it was not for Himself, This was for the salvation of mankind. But now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin (means remove sin completely) by the sacrifice of himself. Hebrews 9:26 12. And the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; This concerns the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70AD. Under Titus, the city was razed to the ground in 70AD. The prince here is Titus, not our Lord Jesus Christ. (*See notes under the heading Christ or Antichrist ) But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Matthew 22:7 God sent the Roman army under Titus who carried out this destruction. 13. And the end thereof shall be with a flood, Source Josephus, after three and a half years, the siege came abruptly to an end, which was quite unexpected, Jerusalem was razed to the ground, only one corner of the all the walls remained in which a Roman garrison was left to stop anyone rebuilding Jerusalem again. It was not rebuilt until Emperor Hadrian ruled Rome, (AD 117-138) and he rebuilt it as a pagan city, Jews were killed if they returned to it. 14. And unto the end of the war desolations are determined. The desolations are determined for the Jewish nation by the destruction of their Temple and its continuing absence. House left desolate continually, even unto the consummation. (That is the destruction of this world when our Lord Jesus returns. (Prophesied by our Lord Jesus. See Luke 13:34-35) 15. And he (our Lord Jesus) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: Seven years according to the prophecy starting at Christ s baptism. This is the entire fulfilment of the seventieth week of Daniels prophecy. The covenant is an everlasting covenant. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Hebrews 13:20 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Romans 11:27 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel 2

and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Hebrews 8:6-13 The Seventieth Week covenant was confirmed starting at Christ s baptism, (John1:30-31) and ended 3½ years after Christ s crucifixion and bodily resurrection when the Jews rejected Christ's followers by stoning Stephen to death in 37AD. (See Acts 7:1-60). The Gospel went to the "Gentiles" and the "Jewish" people lost their place as those "Chosen" to spread God's wonderful message of salvation to the world. (See Acts 28:28) 16. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the *oblation (*tithing system) to cease. This is the 70th week in which the covenant is confirmed. In the midst of this week, our Lord Jesus was cut off by being crucified. When our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, the veil of the temple was rent from top to bottom; animal sacrifices were no longer required. The *oblation (*tithing system) abolished. This is ALL about our Lord Jesus Christ, not Antichrist. Premillennists wrongly believe that this refers to Antichrist making a covenant with the Jews. This error makes premillennism a false antichrist teaching. (*See article on the he of Daniel 9:27) 17. "And for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, The abominations that are overspread throughout Jewish history and are the sins, broken covenant, idolatry and spiritual atrocities committed by the Jewish people, the final one being the total rejection and crucifixion of their Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ. And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Luke 21:20. The destruction and continuing absence of the Temple followed by the continuing presence of the Dome of the Rock, is the desolation. 18. Even until the consummation, The consummation is the complete end and total destruction of this world that occurs when our Lord Jesus Christ returns: The consummation happens at the sudden return of our Lord Jesus Christ in 2 Thessalonians 2:8, that causes the great noise of 2 Peter 3:10, which occurs at the end of Revelation 20:9-15 and results in the New Heavens and New Earth appearing in Revelation 21:1. This means that the animal sacrifice and the *oblation (*tithing system) will never be carried out again. This also means that despite of any kind of preparations that are made; a new Jewish Temple will never be built again. (Matthew 23:34-39) (*See endnote concerning this statement) 19. And that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. End of Daniel 9:24-27 God determined that the desolation poured upon the Jewish nation, (which has been caused by the destruction of the Jewish Temple), will continue to remain so even unto the consummation. The Jewish Temple has been replaced by the Dome of the Rock. This concludes the fact that the seventy weeks of Daniels prophecy has already been fulfilled. There is no future seventieth week, or three and a half years yet to come as the premillennist false doctrine created by the Jesuit priest Ribera in 1585 proclaims. CONCLUSION True prophecy is ALWAYS 100% ACCURATE, anything less is false prophecy. Therefore; any interpretation that is made before its fulfilment is speculative and confusing and is usually a false interpretation. (See 1 Corinthians 14:29-33) A prophecy cannot be proved to be true before it is fulfilled. This because we do not know how it will work out in detail or be fulfilled until it has become ACTUAL HISTORY. (*See Acts 1:7) This means that any false interpretation is an evil doctrine of devils, and such is the premillennial interpretation of Daniel 9:24-27, especially when this prophecy is ALL about the revelation of the coming of the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ, and premillennial doctrine, interpret the he in verse 27 to be the Antichrist. This makes it 100% false and should not be taught any longer. False interpretation is just as evil as false prophecy. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their *pernicious (*means hidden and malignant) ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 2 Peter 1:19-2:2 3

SO, BE CAREFUL HOW YOU INTERPRET PROPHECY SO WHO IS THE HE OF DANIEL 9:27? CHRIST OR ANTICHRIST? This is a very important question. To say that Antichrist is the he in this verse instead of Christ is a very great and serious error of deception that exposes the false premillennum teaching. Here is the scripture in question. Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. THE REAL QUESTION CONCERNS THE IDENTITY OF "HE" IN VERSE 27, CHRIST OR ANTICHRIST? Daniel 9:27. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week... The entire issue of premillennum doctrine and teaching concerns the identity of the "he" in verse 27. This is a very important issue. To call Christ Antichrist is a very great and serious error of deception and can be no less than false Antichrist doctrine and teaching. This is a very serious matter that needs to be dealt with and corrected. The question is how can we correct this error? The Bible say s; Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. There is a simple solution to the problem of the interpretation of these verses, and that is to rightly divide the word of truth. Correct ENGLISH grammar recognises that COLONS represent a parenthesis, (that is brackets). These verses will now appear like this: Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: (the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.) The words inside the brackets identify that this is referring to a different event which is connected to the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem after the Babylonian captivity: This separates it from the first part of the verse that identifies the date and time in history when Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ would appear at His First Advent. Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: (and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.) The words inside the brackets identify that this is referring to another event that is separate from the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Inside the brackets, the prince is not the Messiah; it is Titus who is the Roman prince with his armies ( people ) that destroy the city of Jerusalem. Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: (and in the midst of the week [by His death on a cross and bodily resurrection] he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease and for the overspreading of (1) abominations he shall make it (2) desolate, even until (3) the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.) The words inside the brackets identify that this is referring to two other events that are separate from the confirmation of the covenant. This is the New Covenant, which was confirmed by the shedding of the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus was cut off in the midst of the 70th week, causing the sacrifice and *oblation (*tithing system) to cease forever. (1) The abominations that are overspread throughout Jewish history and are the sins, broken covenant, idolatry and spiritual atrocities committed by the Jewish people, the final one being the total rejection and crucifixion of their Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 32:34, 44:22, Ezekiel 20:7-8, 44:7, Matthew 28:1-6, Luke24:1-8, John 20:1-31 (2) Make it desolate. What was made desolate through the overspreading of the Jewish abominations? It is their Temple. Their Temple was destroyed in AD70, and has remained desolate for more than 1945 years now and this will continue on forever. Our Lord Jesus prophesied this in Matthew 23:37-39. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your *house (*Temple see Ezra 1:2-3) is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. That is even until the consummation. See also Luke 13:34-35. (3) The consummation is the complete end and total destruction of this world that occurs when our Lord Jesus Christ returns: The consummation happens at the sudden return of our Lord Jesus Christ in 2 Thessalonians 2:8, that causes the great noise of 2 Peter 3:10, which occurs at the end of Revelation 20:9-15 and results in the New Heavens and New Earth appearing in Revelation 21:1. This means that the animal sacrifice and the *oblation (*tithing system) will never be carried out again. This also means that despite of any kind of preparations that are made; a new Jewish Temple will never be built again. (Matthew 23:34-39) (*See endnote concerning this statement) 4

The New Covenant was first declared by John the Baptist when he said; Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant. Hebrews 12:24. The New Covenant replaced the Old Covenant, which was established through the shedding of the blood of sheep, goats and cattle etc. The New Covenant was established by the shedding of the precious blood of Christ. For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Romans 11:27 (See also Hebrews 8:6-13). This is an everlasting covenant. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant. Hebrews 13:20. By joining together the words that are outside the brackets, we rightly divide the word of truth and positively identify who the he is in Daniel 9:27. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: And he shall confirm the ***covenant with many for one week: Daniel 9:25-27 (***Hebrew Bereeth, used ONLY in connection with a Divine Covenant; the continuous tense also confirms that this covenant is definitely connected to the above blood of the everlasting covenant of Hebrews 13:20) This prophecy is ALL ABOUT MESSIAH, our Lord Jesus Christ, the date and time in history when He would appear at His First Advent, His life, His death on a cruel cross AND BODILY RESURRECTION. How could Messiah confirm the covenant with many for one week after the shedding of His precious blood on a cruel cross if He was not bodily resurrected? This positively identifies that it is our Lord Jesus Christ who is the he who confirms the covenant with many for one week, not Antichrist making a covenant with the Jews as the false premillennum doctrine teaches. The above reading now makes proper contextual sense of the prophecy. Antichrist doctrine tries to deny the resurrection of Christ. Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? Hebrews 10:29 This is exactly what the premillennum doctrine does by saying that the he in Daniel 9:27 is the Antichrist. The premillennum doctrine hath trodden under foot the Son of God by counting the blood of the New Covenant for which Christ shed His own precious blood an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace. When was this covenant confirmed? Throughout the 70th week that ended in AD 37. This was 7 years after the showing of our Lord Jesus Christ at His baptism (John 1:30-31), when the Sanhedrin made their final rejection of their Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ and the New Covenant of Salvation by Grace through Faith by stoning Stephen to death. See Acts 6:8-7:60 (See the Fig tree prophecy, No more fruit forever: Matthew 21:19). That is no great end time Jewish revival as proclaimed by the false premillennum teaching. Who is the "he" of Daniel 9:27 who confirms the covenant with many for one week? Premillennists, who believe that the entire 70 weeks is not yet fulfilled, contend that the "he" is the Antichrist. This is a gross error of deception. We positively contend that by rightly dividing the context of the Scripture as we have done above proves that the "he" is not the Antichrist but is Messiah the Prince, our Lord Jesus Christ. The Great Tribulation, Affliction and the Days of Vengeance: When prophesying concerning the destruction of Jerusalem in Matthew 24:21, our Lord Jesus uses the words great tribulation. Mark 13:14-20 uses affliction in reference to the same event. Thus we can believe that this was the same great tribulation that Matthew is referring to. Luke 21:20-28 uses the word vengeance for the same event. Acts 7:11 uses great affliction. So what is Great affliction? Could the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple be the Great Tribulation? Acts 14:22 Christians suffer much tribulation. Christians will not escape the great tribulation in the way that premillennum doctrines teach. See Revelations 7:13-14 Question: If you were to die tonight, would the premillennum, a-millennium or nil-millennium doctrines worry you? So why do they worry people now? Whatever you believe about the future, it surely will not come to pass as you or I expect. Apart from them being confusing to most who encounter them, what is the purpose of these doctrines? The early Reformers 5

predicted that the Roman Catholic Church was the spirit of the Antichrist, so to take the pressure from the Papacy; a Jesuit Priest named Ribera formulated the premillennum doctrine in 1585. The early Reformers rejected it, but Darby and then Schofield accepted it and it then became popular. The Preterist false doctrine was formulated by another Jesuit priest named Alcazar. This was another attempt by Rome to try and divert people s attention from Rome being the seat of the Antichrist and make people believe that the papal system is not the Antichrist system. This is Luke s account of God s recompense for the death of His only begotten Son. And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. (Source Josephus, the Jews were killing their babies for food to survive the siege.) And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:20-28 Acts 7:11 uses great affliction, so what is the Great affliction? Exodus 12:13. Psalm 91:10. Ancient Israelites, as a symbol of Christians in the time of the end, were delivered from Egyptian bondage AFTER the plagues, NOT BEFORE, so God's people will be protected THROUGH the plagues and delivered from the hand of the oppressor. For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. Hebrews 10:30 THE THOUSAND YEAR REIGN And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4 This is the verse that a lot of people use to try and confirm a thousand year reign of our Lord Jesus Christ upon this earth. Nowhere in the text is there ANY SUGGESTION that this reign is here upon this earth either before it or after it. The text clearly states that it is the souls of those who were beheaded who reign with our Lord Jesus for a thousand years. The Bible states clearly that our Lord Jesus Christ s reign is forever and ever, not just for a thousand years. Revelation 11:15. The fact is that those souls who were beheaded are in heaven, not on this earth. The Holy Bible clearly states that if we are absent from the body, we are present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8. It is obvious that this scene here and the thousand year reign in Revelation 20:4 is in heaven, and NOT here on the earth. So then, we cannot find in Revelation 20, any indication of a personal reign of Christ on this earth for a thousand years. It is our firm belief that the redeemed souls of the departed saints are now living and reigning with Christ. This interpretation of Revelation chapter 20 is in perfect harmony with the rest of the New Testament; and the Old Testament prophets have not a word to say about a millennial reign of our Lord Jesus Christ here on earth neither before nor after His Second Advent. Clearly the Second Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ will mean the end of this world, and instead of a millennium, the word of God tells us to look for a New Heavens and a New Earth where there will be no more death, no more curse and no more night there. Revelation 21;:22, 2 Peter 3:13. See Tares and Wheat parable. Matthew 13:36-43. DOCTRINAL ERRORS IN THE PREMILLENNIUM BELIEFS 1. Premillennism dishonours the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. A secret rapture, is not supported by Scripture and takes away the all sufficiency of the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ on a cruel cross. In other words, it is not sufficient to provide salvation for everyone. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2 Peter 3:10 Premillennum doctrines focus on the thief in the night part of this verse but neglect to rightfully combine it with the rest of the verse that says, in the which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be burned up etc. This is a not a secret event, it is only the lead up to this event that is kept in secret. 6

2. Premillennism requires another day of salvation that is in the future and gives a false hope for the Jews. If now is the day of salvation, how can there be another day of salvation? There is only one day of salvation, not another day. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2. On the Day of Pentecost, the Jews were saved in the same way that they are saved today, that is by grace through faith. From henceforth, no animal sacrifices required forever. 3. Premillennism requires another Gospel. And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people. Revelation 14:6. If the Gospel that we have now is not the one and only everlasting gospel, what is it that we have? If we do not have everlasting life through believing in the everlasting Gospel that God has given us through our Lord Jesus Christ, what is it that we have? It is obvious that the Premillennum teaching is false and not supported by Scripture. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-9 ENDNOTE Premillennists believe that a third temple will be built and our Lord Jesus Christ will personally reign over the nations in their mortal state from the throne of David in Jerusalem. They believe that animal sacrifices will begin again even though our Lord Jesus Christ s death on Calvary did away with them. At the end of the millennium, those who do not accept Christ will be destroyed and eternity will begin. In our opinion, this interpretation of Scripture is incorrect for the following reasons: 1) Our Lord Jesus Christ s sacrificial death on a cruel cross has caused the temple animal sacrifices and *oblation (*tithing system) to cease forever. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease even until the consummation, Daniel 9:27. The consummation is the complete end and destruction of this world. 1 Peter 3:3-11 2) The Temple of God has always been in the past in Jerusalem, but it no longer exists. However, the seat of the Antichrist has always been in ROME. (See Revelation 2:13) It is possible that (a) through all the changes that are in the texts of the corrupted bibles, which claim to be the word of God, and (b) the false doctrines and teachings that prevail in the churches of today, and (c) the throne of David no longer exists in Jerusalem, and (d) that the Temple of God in Jerusalem has been destroyed, and (e) the abomination that makes desolate (that is the Dome of the Rock) is standing in its place, that the Antichrist will be able to convince the world that the Temple of God is now in ROME, and that is where he will sit trying to convince the world that he is God. (See 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4) 3) 2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 4) Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christ s, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. The 69 weeks have been fulfilled and the 70th week has also been fulfilled. IN CONCLUSION NOTHING in the Bible suggests that this prophecy should be broken up in the way that the premillennists break it up. NO OTHER Bible prophecy is broken up like this, with a 2000 year or more gap! Our Answer: The 70 weeks (490 years) is a CONTINUOUS prophecy which began in 453 BC and ended in AD 37. This is when the Jewish Sanhedrin confirmed their total and final rejection of their Messiah and the Gospel of salvation by grace through faith by stoning Stephen to death (See Acts 7:1-60) The Gospel went to the "Gentiles" and the "Jewish" people lost their place as those "Chosen" to spread God's Wonderful salvation message to the world. (See Acts 28:28) 7
