Dear family and friends, Mohsen s Message 4 rue Deodat de Severac 75017 Paris, France October+ November 2015 (From the USA dial: 0-11-33-1-46-22-07-41) E-Mail: rolandmohsen@yahoo.com Rose:yourroseinparis2003@yahoo.com yourrose2009paris@gmail.com Church website: www.egliseduchrist-deodat.com In the midst of troubling times that is facing France since the first of the year, no words can express our gratitude to all of you that have send messages, cards, and phone calls of care and concern about our safety and concerns about the Church! We can only say "Thank you God for such a great family that is the Church". You have touched our hearts and we can say everyone is safe, but meanwhile we are very careful as we go out about our daily life. The Sunday right after the terrorist attacks, I called the police and they advised us not to have a Sunday worship. The Brethren decided to have services as usual. We told all that once the worship was over not to hang around the building outside and everything went well. Most shopping centers and even open markets are quite empty until now and business has been down. Even our Sunday evening worship has been down in attendance. We usually have several visitors from the States or other countries of the world, but since November 13th, rare are the visitors from other parts of the world. I believe it will be like this until France and other countries of Europe will feel safer. Rose and I had the privilege of visiting John Wilson her cousin which she had not seen for 40 years, as he came to Paris for his birthday and visited with us. It was nice for us. We had three young adults place membership with us, Keith from Chicago, Jennifer from California and Rachel from Trinidad. They are studying in France, of course we are always happy when young adults are here, even if it s only for a few months. When we gain a few we also lose some, Allison Meyer left for the States back in June and her husband Nathan is leaving us this coming December. He has been with us for more than ten years and was my most reliable song leader for all this time. We sure are going to miss him a lot. I am trusting that God will send us someone like Nathan to take his place. On the 11 th of November I went Lille for the annual retreat of the Churches of the North, more than twenty from the congregation went, altogether we were 85 present, and it is always pleasant to see brothers and sisters which we not seen for a whole year and for some of them longer than that.

Edwige, the young French woman which I had been studying with for several months and who expressed her desire to obey the Gospel, once I would be back from our visit to the, U.S.A. had the desire to be baptized for the remission of her sins, but she is presently in a situation not agreeable to God and therefore I told her that I would not baptize her until she straighten up her life and was willing to pay the price. Since our meeting she has not showed up for the last 3 weeks. I keep her in my prayers and hope that she will do what is right in God's sight. I began a Bible study one to one with Jordy, the son of Brother Wisgath and I must say that it went well, and we are planning on continuing the studies. I had a study with a young woman from the Ivory Coast named Florentine. She is mixed up, being influenced by Pentecostal teaching. I will see where our study together will lead to. I began a Bible study by correspondence with a Frenchman, Mr Lorzach, and he lives in the town of Morlaix, in NE of France. We corresponded by mail and also by phone and he is a former atheist that now believes in God. The next Bible study I had was with the wife of a former pastor of an Assembly of God from Mauritius island. She is 60 years old and been in France for a year, and her name is Marilyn Lacariate. In our first study together she said "That she had the gift of prophecy.'' So I immediately told her "Let s see what the Bible says about prophecy" after going through several scriptures, she told me "You are puzzling me about what you have shown me from the Bible", I told her it was not me but "God s Word.'' I pray that she will want to continue to study. Several of our members have been traveling because of deaths in their family and some are to visit their families in December. There were 650 Bible tracts taken in the last two months! We had in October 5,549 visits to the website from 81 countries and in November 6,235 visited from 76 countries. We just heard that we will lose another $1,000.00 per month of our support, which it will bring a total of $3,500.00 per month loss of support for 2016. We are trusting that God will provide. We want to express of deep gratitude for all of you that are praying for our safety and are continuing to support us Spiritually and financially. May God continue to richly bless you with good health as you continue to serve Him. In Him, Roland

You have touched our hearts and we can say everyone is safe, but meanwhile we are very careful as we go out about our daily life. One of the people that bombed Paris parked the abandoned the car in the 18th not far from hospital where Rose Mary works, therefore, not far from us. The Sunday right after the terrorist attacks, Roland called the police and they advised us not to have a Sunday worship. The Brethren decided to have services as usual. We told all that once the worship was over not to hang around the building outside and everything went well. Pray that Edwige, Marilyn, Mr Lorzach, Florentine, Jordy and others in Bible studies will change their hearts and obey the Lord. I was able to share one of our church booklets with my friend Huquette Kohn and hope that she reads it and we can talk more about the Lord. I still have English studies on Saturday mornings with Malika, Lina, Camelia, and Lamia. Thanks for all your prayers for all of these and us. Several of our members have been traveling because of deaths in their family and some are to visit their families in December. We were to go to Franc and Liva's but because of blocked roads for all the leaders of world nations and meeting in Paris, we had to cancel that study with them for that date. We are thankful to be in contact by phone. I still go and babysit the girls for Rose Mary while she works usually on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I go other days if Rose Mary has a doctors appt. or meeting with schools etc. I still take the girls to their extra class on Monday evenings and usually wait and crochet or go see my friend Huquette for about 30 minutes as we usually have tea and a good visit. I've been able to crochet some pillows, mittens, scarves, headbands and shawls for gifts for Xmas. Still have more to do and not much time to do it in. There were 650 Bible tracts taken in the last two months! We had in October 5,549 visits to the website from 81 countries and in November 6,235 visited from 76 countries. We are thankful for those that are interested. Our church website has lots in English too, so check it out the site!
