Welcome to my world where it s naturally supernatural. Now I m gonna really stretch you. My guest, Billy Burke, I have got medical documentation of someone that had a stomach surgically removed and they now have a stomach of someone that was given, look at this documentation, a new lung. Billy Burke, I am in awe of these creative miracles and it s not just those, too. I mean, you have gone into a zone of creative miracles. But I want to find out a bit about you. In fact, before we started this show I was saying the hero of your life has to be your grandmother. Tell me why. BILLY: Well my grandmother really was the only member in our family that was exposed to the supernatural. You know, she was an avid Kathryn Kuhlman listener on the radio. I grew up in Pittsburgh and so she was exposed to the early days of Oral Roberts and Kathryn Kuhlman. SID: I m so glad she was, because at age nine, according to my notes, you had terminal brain cancer. BILLY: Yes I did. SID: You had like a few days to live? BILLY: Three days. I was in a hospital in Pittsburgh, three days to live, and they had me dismissed against doctors wishes to take me to a Kathryn Kuhlman meeting. SID: But your grandmother got you dismissed a little earlier. BILLY: About five days. SID: And she did something for you that everyone should have a grandmother like Billy Burke had. BILLY: I think it s a secret to a miracle. I think it s one of the major secrets to a miracle. Because we know how to prepare for Thanksgiving, for Christmas, for fishing, for weddings, for funerals. We can even prepare for church. But how do you get ready to receive if you re blind? How do you get ready to receive? How do you prepare to receive a miracle? And I was dismissed about a week early, from Monday to Thursday, the meeting was on a Friday morning. From Monday to Thursday, every moment that she got, now I had a patch over my eye. SID: Why did you have a patch over one eye?
2 BILLY: My vision was double. I had double vision. My motor skills were pretty deteriorated. I had lumps on my back, cancer lumps all over my back. SID: Did you know you were going to die in three days? BILLY: Yeah. They prepared me as much as they could. SID: So how did you handle it when your grandmother kept saying to you-- BILLY: When she touches you. That s what she said. When she touches you. And here I am home at my house in Greensburg, PA. SID: Over and over again. BILLY: Every chance. Every chance she would get. SID: When that woman, that s Kathryn Kuhlman, touches you, did she say, You will be healed? BILLY: You will be healed. When she touches you. When she touches you. When she touches you. So by the time Friday morning we re driving down to the meeting and she s on that same thing, When she touches you. I didn t know what she was doing then. I do now. Because I didn t know how to prepare for that. You know, most people walk into a service, even a miracle service and they re not prepared for it, you know. And so we were in the balcony and I was watching all of that through one eye, and I was amazed at what I was seeing. I thought this is like a show. SID: You were at the best show in town. BILLY: The best show in town. All of a sudden, Kathryn pointed to me and she said, You, get down here. You re being healed. SID: How did she know it was you? There were a lot of people there. BILLY: There were about 2000 people. SID: How did she know it was you? BILLY: I don t know. I just felt like her finger touched my nose. And she said, Get down here. And I said No. SID: No! You re dying, Billy. BILLY: Yeah, I know. SID: Come to your senses.
3 BILLY: And she said, I said get down here! And I said no the second time. And the third time she said, Ushers, get him down here. So she sent two ushers up into the balcony to get me and brought me down to stand next to her, and that s when she began to talk ask me my name. She said, Do you believe? She said, Do you believe? And I said, Yeah, I believe. And she turned around to walk away. And I remember taking a sigh of relief thinking, Well I passed the test. And she spun around and she said, I said, Do you believe! And it was something. And now I know what that something was. It was the presence of the Holy Spirit went all through me. And her hand was reaching to my head. I could hear my grandmother s voice. My grandma said, When she touches you. When she touches you. When she touches you. Here comes this hand. When she touches you. When she touches you. So my grandmother s words had prepared me for that chiros moment. SID: That overpowered every unbelief, everything, that s all you heard inside of your head. BILLY: Right. A God breathed the word, a word fitly spoken. When she touches you. Again, I didn t know at that time, as I would know now, preparing people to receive the anointing. SID: So she touches. To the best of your memory, you were just nine years old. BILLY: I remember it like it was yesterday. SID: But what happened to you when she touched you? BILLY: It was like yesterday. It was incredible presence, power, titillating, riveting. SID: You said the power was so strong three rows of people-- BILLY: Four rows fell. SID: What do you mean fell? Out of their chairs? BILLY: They fell. It was all pews. So they fell back in their pews. Some were laying across their pews. I was laying on a marble floor pinned like this. I was like groggy. I was like, as we would call it today, drunk in the spirit. And I remember I tried to get up and I couldn t move anything. I thought I d die. I actually thought that I d die. And I thought that strange lady came with me, cause she was standing over me saying, All the faith in this boy, the faith in this boy. SID: No it wasn t. It was the faith in your grandmother that put her faith inside of you. Let s give credit to where credit s due. BILLY: I concur. I concur. I concur. SID: In other words, the presence of God was so strong on him, totally healed, by the way obviously.
4 BILLY: When I got up, she said, Get that patch off your eye. I didn t even realize that my legs were not paralyzed and I could move my leg. I didn t even realize that the pain was gone. I was so used to being that way. And she said, Get that patch off your eye. I said, Oh no, no. And she said, Get that patch off of your eye or I m taking it off your eye. SID: She had, we Jewish people have a word. It s called chutzpah, nerve. That woman had chutzpah. BILLY: Yeah, yeah. So I picked the patch up. I didn t take it off. I picked it up and my eye had straightened back out again. And of course then the cancer was completely gone and I had gone back for tests. SID: But what s so amazing to me, Billy, it is the presence of healing was so strong on him that if you could get under that fountain of healing. And I believe when you come back Billy is gonna pray for you and I believe that that fountain is, have you seen many people with cancer healed that you ve prayed for? BILLY: Many, many, many, many, many. SID: And guess what? God s not limited to cancer. We ll be right back after this word. SID: One thing that was left out when I was interviewing Billy Burke about his marvelous healing under the Kathryn Kuhlman ministry is many years later he bumped into an usher that was there. You know he was just a young kid. He didn t remember everything. And the ushers said that Kathryn said to him, You will do the same thing that I am doing. And one day Billy has been moving in miracles and he gets a phone call, a message, a voice message and the message says, Hey hotshot, if you really got the goods, why don t you go to the school for the blind. Why don t you go to the school for the blind and just clear them out. What affect did that have on you? BILLY: Initially, I thought I dismissed it. I thought, well that s just somebody that s deranged or angry, or jealous and don t understand. But the more that I thought about that voice, because up until that time I hadn t seen any blind people healed. We ve seen a lot of people deaf, a lot of people paralyzed, a lot of cancer people healed. But I hadn t seen a lot of people, I hadn t seen any. And there was something riveting about that. And I went over and I sat down at my desk and I said, You know Lord, I don t like this spirit that was said. It was very condemning, very judgmental. I said, But there s a ray of truth in that. And I put my hands up and I began to cry. I said, Lord, I need to see some people that are blind, healed. I said, If I m gonna represent you fully then I want to be able to fully say that I ve seen everything that there is to see. I m
5 asking you for more. And I just spent time in that presence crying out to Him. I believe in crying out to Him. And it was a week after that. SID: What exactly, tell me some words you were crying out. Take me back to that time. Cry out one thing you cried out at that time. BILLY: Master, I need more of your presence. I call Him Master. Master, I need more of your presence in these meetings. I need to see more tangible, more glory. SID: Like it was almost a desperation. BILLY: Yes. SID: That s what I m catching, In that crying out he was desperate for more of God like some of you are right now. BILLY: Hungry, desperate. And that cry, it s hard to imitate that cry because I m feeling now what I felt then, that importance, that need at the moment. And for all of you that are watching out there, for wherever you are don t ever think you have to be educated than what you are. Maybe you don t know the Bible like you think you should or you re not a church goer. You don t go to church at all. Maybe you re not even a Christian today, but you have a cry. Every one of us have a cry locked up in here. Barnabas cried out. He didn t even know the Lord. He cried out. And you have a cry and you can just get vertical and look up and begin to cry. He will hear you. He will hear you. SID: Okay, so Billy cried out. His next meeting, would you believe the first person that he s going to pray for is blind. What went through your mind at that point? BILLY: I was amazed. I was out in California visiting a placed called Melody Land with Dr. Wilkerson and he had asked me to come up and he said you one end of, it was about a thousand people at the altar. He said, You take one end and I ll take another end. And the first person that they brought there was a blind man. And I just said, oh my, cause I had remembered a week prior I cried out. And Sid, it was amazing. I just put my hands up on his eyes and his eyes just opened right up. He began to, Oh my God, I can see! My God, I can see. [video] Pastor Wilkerson: Come on. What, what, what, what? [video] Man: I can see! [video] Pastor Wilkerson: What! [video] Man: I can see! [video] [cheers, applause] BILLY: I was across the stage and I said, Pastor Wilkerson, this man got his eye sight. And he yelled back and he said, I m glad cause I got another one for you. So I ran over on the other side of the stage and there s a woman standing there and she was blind, and he touched her and her eyes came open.
6 [video] Pastor Wilkerson: That s gonna change tonight by the power of the Holy Ghost, Jesus! [video] [cheers, applause] SID: And since that point have any more blind people gotten their site? BILLY: Oh amazing. SID: Since that point it kind of opened up even a greater level of miracles for you. BILLY: A greater realm, you know, because our faith grows. Our faith is progressive. And often times, you know, our faith follows knowledge. Our faith follows-- SID: Now did you want to see a blind person get their site back? Let s take a look at this person right now. [video] BILLY: Ten years blind. How did she go blind? [video] Woman: There was an accident. She as poked in the eye. [video] BILLY: She got poked in the eyes? Everything is still there? [video] Woman: In her brain, the part of the brain that controls the eye doesn t work any more. So even if they did surgery she wouldn t-- [video] BILLY: We had a little boy that was healed that didn t have the optic nerve. You don t need all the components. That s for normal people. [video] Woman: Only God can make her see. [video] BILLY: Can t you see out of that eye? Can you see anything at all? Can you see out of this eye? How many fingers do I have? How many fingers over here? You can t see anything. Close your eyes, sweetheart. Close your eyes. Time will heal you. Oh we give mighty Jesus praise. Do you believe Jesus can heal your eyes? He s touching you. [video] [music, singing] [video] BILLY: By the Holy Ghost, come on heal! Can you see out of this eye? What do I have? Close this eye. Put your hand over it. How many? [video] Woman: Four. [video] [cheers, applause] [video] [singing] Eyes wide open. With eyes wide open. SID: I don t know about, but I can feel the presence of God. Billy, what else was going on? BILLY: In that particular meeting, when her eyes came open it riveted through that whole church. And there was a man in there that had been a hit by a tractor trailer. And his hand was locked and paralyzed. He used to play keyboard, the organ for Oral Roberts back in the early days. And he was in that meeting and his wife raised her hand and said, Can I get him into the meeting and get him in? So she brought him up and his hand was locked. He hadn t played in years. He was hit head on by a tractor trailer. And the power of God hit him and he fell unto the power, on to the floor, and when he got up his hand opened up, and that place went crazy. He went over to the organ. I said, Get over there and play something. SID: Faith is contagious.
7 BILLY: That s it. That s it. SID: I can imagine when he played that, you know what? You re about ready to catch the faith to believe for a miracle to happen in your life. And I did hear that someone s neck was just healed in Jesus name. Be right after this word. We ll be right back to It s Supernatural. *** We now return to It s Supernatural. SID: Hello. Sid Roth here with Billy Burke. And Billy, tell me about the time this woman came to mock you. BILLY: Oh my. SID: She thought you were a phony. BILLY: Yeah. She was in a meeting and we were in, I believe it was Pittsburgh, PA, yeah, in Pittsburgh in a meeting. She was several rows from the front from where I was. And God, the Holy Spirit was healing people. It was so obvious that there were notable miracles and God was touching people. And she back here laughing. And I couldn t tell at first if she was laughing with me or against me. So I kind of just let it go. But then I sensed that spirit that she was making fun of me and she was mocking everything that was going on. So I just said, Ma am, you can t do this to everybody because there s people who come in from all over who don t understand this or who are planted there for evil purposes, and you can t chance everyone down. But every once in a while God will hand you to stare somebody down, because He wants to help all of us. He wants to open up, open up our ears, open up heart. So I said to this lady, I said, Ma am, what are you laughing at? And she said, I m laughing at you. I said, You re laughing at me? She said, Yeah. She said, You think you know all this. You think this is real. I said, Ma am, what do you mean? She said, You think these people, that man over there is deaf, do you think he could-- I said, Well yeah. It is real. And she started laughing. And I said, Ma am, you shouldn t laugh like that. I wouldn t laugh in the presence of God like that. She said, I m laughing at you because I don t think any of this real. And I said, Well what would it take for you to believe? What would it take right now this moment for you to believe that this is real? And she got real smirky and she said, Really, really. And she had salt and pepper hair and black and silver mixed hair. And I said, You want me to give you something? I said, Well you have beautiful hair there, salt and pepper hair. I said, What about whenever I count to three if your hair goes back to its original color. Now I never said anything like that to anybody ever. And even after I said that I thought that my mind was telling me, Why did you say that? See cause your mind is at war with your spirit. SID: Wait a second. If her hair did not change color you realize you would have been out of town.
8 BILLY: I m in trouble, right. So but inside, you know, I have to say, No God. I m trusting this is you. She started laughing. She said, So you re gonna count to three and my hair is gonna change is gonna color. She said, I can t wait to see this. I said, Okay, here we go. And so I went, One, two. I stayed on two a little long. And then I said, Three. And as soon as I said three I just stood back and I just kept that stare. And the woman behind her, who was sitting right behind her shouted, Oh my God! And she began to see it from behind her, her hair changed completely back to its original color right there in front of anybody that was around that section. [video] [cheers, applause] SID: Okay. Tell me about the woman that had her stomach surgically removed and came to your meeting. BILLY: Oh my. That s amazing. SID: That s so amazing. I ve got all these sheets of documentation that her stomach was surgically removed. No question. BILLY: Yeah. She went in for a simple procedure, simple stapling procedure and the knife slipped and cut into her stomach. She was hemorrhaging and they thought it best to save her life was to remove the pouch. And they connected her esophagus and her intestine. And for two years she lived on ice tea and pickle. And I was told that the doctor told her the vinegar in the pickles was what sustained her life. But after a couple of years she was going into chronic organ failure, and that s when she came in to our meeting. And it was late. It was the end of the night when she came to the altar, about 10:30 at night. And she came up and said, I need a new stomach. And I said, Give me some of the details. We interacted just briefly. But when I touched her, Sid, I mean, the power, I can feel the power passing through me into her. And she hit on the floor and lay there for an hour, a better part of three quarters of an hour. And she got up. She testifies that she could actually feel the stomach that night. And her and her friends went out to a fast food chain. She tested it with some-- SID: This is quite a test. You have to understand. If she had eaten that fast food without being given a new stomach she would have died. BILLY: She almost died. She tried to eat a noodle a while back and almost died. They had to rush her in the ambulance because had no stomach. SID: She had no stomach. BILLY: So she went out up and her friends were a little bit nervous about that. They said, Are you sure? She said, I am so sure of what I felt go through me. See that s just it. The anointing is tangible. You know, we ve got to help our people understand that there s a presence of God that you can actually feel. Your faith will lead you to a place of visitation.
9 SID: Billy, this woman went out and she had a hamburger, large fries and a diet coke. I asked her, I mean, we ve investigated and we got all these reports. But Billy, it s time for you to pray for the sick. Their faith is sky high. BILLY: Yes. Right, right. Lord, we thank you now. I just want to say that God doesn t heal you because you re good. He heals you because He s good. You re never gonna always be just where miracle flourish in imperfect conditions. There s someone out here. You ve had two kidneys, but one kidney is smaller than the other kidney. And right now, God is causing that smaller kidney to grow back to its normal size. You re not gonna need surgery and no more medication. God is growing that kidney back in Jesus name. And there s a woman out there with multiple lumps on your breast. There s not one or two. There s multiple lumps. You can feel these lumps. And if you slowly take your hands up over your breast you ll begin to see these lumps are disappearing as you put your hand there. Shingles is being completely healed and eradicated. He s taking the actual rash away from around your torso. And Lord, I thank you now. I just want you to reach out now. Lord, I just pray the Holy Ghost begin to move that powerful Holy Spirit all over. There s someone with spinal stenosis being completely healed at this moment. Spinal stenosis. There s a number on your screen. You call It s Supernatural and let people begin to know. Someone has liver enzymes. Your enzymes in your liver has been way out of wack. And I see a shadow there and God is healing that shadow all over your liver in Jesus name. We thank the Messiah for healing you right now. And there s many of you, many of you being healed of vertigo. Many of you being healed of lumps on your body. Any kind of a lump or cyst, there s fibroid tumors that are just being dissolved. I mean, there are so many fibroid tumors being dissolved right now in your body. There s someone with an arm, a limp arm, not even working. Your arm is not even working for years and God is causing the muscles and the strength to come back into that arm. Just begin to swing it. Begin to swing and you ll find yourself being able to raise it. He s giving you full strength in Jesus name. We thank you, Lord. We thank you. There s someone else here. There s someone else. God, we thank you for healing all of your wonderful people. There s people with double vision being healed completely in Jesus name. SID: Billy, you see there s power in the testimony. BILLY: Yes. SID: And I believe there are people with cancer and I command the spirits behind those cancers to leave now in Jesus name. There s such a river flowing right now. Just put your hand on your own body and in Jesus name be healed now.
