We have chosen the way of truth. Psalm 119:30 VOLUME 2 August 31, 2014 NUMBER 35 From the Pastor s Heart Greetings Southside Family, We are so glad you chose to join us for worship this morning. Our prayer is that you will discover the presence of God as we worship today. If you are a first time guest then let me be the first to welcome you. I would like to encourage you at the end of the service to stop by our guest table which is located at the front of the sanctuary to receive a free gift and further information about our church family. We have so much for which to praise the Lord. Collectively, we prayed and asked God to move in a powerful way during our revival meeting, and He certainly blessed our revival in a supernatural way. Psalm 67:3-"Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You." We praise Him for who He is: He is holy. He is merciful. He is kind. He is righteous. He is Lord! Psalm 145:10-"All your works shall praise You, O Lord, and Your saints shall bless You." God did a wonderful work in the life of Southside Baptist Church this past week, and for that, we can be eternally grateful. Luke 10:20 says, "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven." Thank you Jesus for the numerous amount of decisions that were made for Christ last week. As a church family let's continue to welcome and love on all of our new members, as well as making welcome our guests that are visiting each week. We celebrated Wednesday night with 3 baptisms and we will start the worship service off this morning with baptisms as well. Thank God for His presence that is evident in our church. For His Glory, Bro. Stacy

Dear Christian Friends, A Moment with Rhonda If you missed the picnic last week, you missed a blessing! After the short shower, the temperature was perfect. I enjoy so much the fellowship with my Christian friends, especially on these special planned nights. If you have not been coming, you might want to consider it to connect with some old friends and meet some new ones. What an awesome time of revival this week! It has been wonderful to see so many saved this week. I pray God will continue to bless us with souls for Him. We are still enrolling new children in our daycare each week. We now have 35 children who attend on a full time or part time basis. Just think of how those little children are being impacted for Jesus. I still have room for more of you to sign up for the Sr. Adult Singin' on Sept. 18th. I will turn in a count on Sept. 2nd so go ahead and turn in your $10.00 which includes your lunch. The time will be from 10:00-12:00. If you are helping me with the Sr. Adult Singin' event, please come to a planning meeting on this Wed. night, Sept. 3rd at 4:15 in the fellowship hall. If you are signed up for the Branson trip, we will have a meeting on this Tues., Sept. 2nd at 5:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. I will be sharing lots of information about the trip so make plans to attend. Children, our first activity for the new church year will be a Game Day which will be held at our church on Sat. Sept. 13th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. We have some large group games as well as small group games, so bring a friend and plan to join us. Don't forget our new Children's programs for Wed. nights which will begin on Sept. 3rd. We will rotate Team Kids and Choir as we have done in the past. Brand new teachers, brand new materials! We will be collecting candy for our Fall event at Aplin Farms for the month of Sept. Please place it in the marked barrels. We will return to Aplin Farms this year for our Fall event on Oct. 26th.I need 13 volunteers to decorate their vehicle for the Trunk or Treat. Please let me know if you would be willing to help.
