He is Risen! Easter Sunday Neland Avenue Christian Reformed Church March 27, 2016 10 AM
Growing with Peter What does it take to be a follower of Jesus Christ? What does it take to walk the way of the cross? The Apostle Peter learned that the hard way most of the time. And so do we, in life s ups and life s downs. Of course, not all of us are like Peter: impulsive and courageous, slow to listen, but quick to act and speak. Peter has his story, and we have ours But as we tag along with this bumbling disciple, perhaps we all can learn something about failing forward in the grace of our Lord. And how to stay true to One who loves us. February 14 Come and See! Banners: And suddenly there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord, descending from heaven, came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. Matthew 28:2, 3 The quilted wall hangings seek to depict the startling, lightning-like quality of the resurrection, exploding with the light of Christ into our dark world. --Artist Jeanne Logan Hearing Loop System available.
