Well, here's the answer: This world is coming to Jesus because Jesus is coming to this world. The study of the book of Revelation is all about the Lord Jesus Christ. His return for many will be a time of rejoicing; for many, a time of greatest sorrow. For many, it will be a day of reward; for many, a day of great judgment. Oh, how powerful and promising are the words of Jesus, "Behold, I come quickly" (3:11; 22:7, 12, 20). Let's study together and prepare together for the promised coming, the revelation of Jesus Christ!! Jambo! Welcome to! Every day, our kids are faced with choices about who to listen to, who their hearts worship, how to speak to and about others, whether to work diligently at school or home, and who to hang out with. Will they choose wisely or foolishly? Will they base their decisions on the wisdom of the world or the wisdom that comes from above? As they safari up Mount Kilimanjaro, your trekkers learn that true wisdom comes only from the one true all-wise God, who wants us to be wise! And He's filled the book of Proverbs with wise sayings for us! As they study Proverbs, your hikers will learn to have: ears that hear and do the Word of God; hearts that trust in the Lord; tongues that are tame; hands that get to work; feet that walk with the wise! Set your compasses for Africa and prepare for an epic expedition at! Invitation cards are available at the Welcome Center! A list of supplies needed is posted on the VBS display in the lobby. THRU MALE LEADERSHIP When it comes to genuine agape love, men are to lead the way. The characteristics of love as given in 1 Corinthians 13 are not for sissies, wimps, and shoulder-shruggers. Men, this is the day in which our wives, our children, our co-workers, our neighbors and our brothers and sisters in Christ need to see a true display of the love of Christ! Genuine love is patient, kind, unselfish, trusting, truthful, forgiving and dedicated. It can transform the world around you for the gospel's sake, for God's glory, and for your good! So, men, we will study this theme of 'Love Works Thru Male Leadership" via various venues in this month of June. Church Trip to the Creation Museum/Ark Encounter Petersburg/Williamstown, KY July 23-25 The state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings, such as Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden, children play and dinosaurs roam near Eden s Rivers, the serpent coils cunningly in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
