This fundraising effort to support local food banks was a home run (just kidding!), with a total of $606.30 donated in all. The Eagles were the clear favorite of our young collectors, with $570.48 deposited in the Philadelphia pot and only $35.82 going the Patriots way but regardless of the breakdown of the donations or the score of the game, your generosity will greatly benefit the hungry in our area. CHRISTIAN ED: Church School Teacher Meeting February 11 at 9:00 in the parlor; we will meet to discuss the schedule for the remainder of the school year. There will be coffee and a breakfast treat. Pizza Club February 13 and February 27, 5:30-7:00. Children from Pre-K to grade 5 will meet in the undercroft to enjoy fun, fellowship, a lesson and some singing with Mrs. Alt, and pizza! On February 13, our focus will be on sportsmanship and the ongoing Winter Olympics; on February 27, the topic will be on the meaning and observance of Lent (hopefully not by giving up pizza). Hope to see you there! CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER GROUP: Resumes regular Monday morning meetings on February 5th at 11 a.m. in the church parlor. PARISH LIFE: - Parish Life is going to host a dinner at Culhane s Steak House on March 9 th, 2018. Drinks on your own at 6:00 and dinner at 6:30. A sign-up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board from February 12-26 th. Each individual will pay for the dinner at the restaurant that evening. Brunch on Feb. 11 th after 10:00 service and before Annual Meeting. Maundy Thursday March 29 th, W e are going to serve dinner at 6:00 and service at 7:00.
