2 Living Water Ministries is a safe place for all of God s children to experience intentional community centered in Christ where they are formed in their faith, developed as leaders, and equipped as servants of the gospel. This approach to our work has world-changing implications as participants experience the love of Christ in each member of the community, and return home to share that same love with others. The work we do is increasingly powerful in the face of a world that continues to embrace division. We feel particularly called to create communities that are relevant and meaningful to people of all races, genders, identities, orientations, abilities, and socio-economic statuses. As we endeavor to authentically create space for all of God s children, we find ourselves glimpsing the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. It s in this pursuit of the kingdom that we see lives and the world transformed. It s in this pursuit of the kingdom that our mission & vision are made real. We welcome you to join us this summer! C.J. Clark Executive Director

Campers end each day in community with one another at campfire while the sun sets over Stony Lake.

4 Living Water Ministries summer staff think of themselves as community builders, leadership developers, faith formers, servant leaders, and world changers. While a huge part of their job is to care for the emotional, physical, and spiritual safety of your child, they are also responsible for helping your child learn and grow in a nurturing environment. Our summer staff undergo an intensive two week training period prior to the arrival of campers. During that time, they learn how to build community in their cabin groups, and nurture your child as they grow in faith. It s also during this training period that staff undergo background checks, drug screenings, CPR/first aid training, boundaries training, behavior management training, anti-racism training and more as our commitment to caring for every child that attends one of our programs. It s not only our goal to keep your child safe, but to also equip and empower them as members of a Christian community and as citizens of the world. Programs at Stony Lake are accredited by the American Camp Association.

Our staff live and breathe the mission as they care for each child entrusted to them.

Each week we celebrate the community we have formed with Community Night, a celebration that includes games, music, face painting, and crazy outfits.

7 Our faith journey begins as we discover who we are as children of God, how we form loving community in the name of Christ, and how we have a blast together in the midst of it all! Camp creates a community where each member learns to see Christ in each other and in themselves, unlocking a sense joy and freedom that is contagious.

9 Campers become part of building a great camp community through team-building activities, low and high ropes courses, and shared time spent learning more about God and each other. Group and personal challenges are overcome as we become more confident in ourselves, the community, and our relationship with Christ. 18 Parent survey responses about their child s experience.

19 They both enjoyed learning more about their faith in a fun, welcoming, non-judgmental setting. Her exposure to the caring staff and fellow campers has been such a positive experience. She feels Stony Lake represents a place where she feels closer to Jesus. She soaked up everything! The idea of forgiveness and grace seemed to make sense to her. She enjoyed the leadership and service opportunities. She has mentioned key take aways several times and has started posting a faith message on her social media. During the children s message at church, they shared what they learned about God and our congregation was blown away by their maturity of faith. Even in this short time, I can tell they want to engage more with the church and be a bigger part of worship! He carries himself differently. He walks taller. They are noticing faith moments in the world around us!

What does it mean for our lives to truly follow Christ? What kind of change can we bring to the world when we do? How do we find our voice and the strength to boldly love others, serve others, and walk alongside others in a world that continues to embrace division? The rebellion we are seeking isn t rooted in hate or violence. The rebellion we are seeking is rooted in Christ s Kingdom. In Christ s Kingdom the sick are healed, the mourning find joy, the homeless find shelter, and the oppressed are lifted up. Christ has set us free to be a light to others. This is the rebellion we seek. $ 160 if registered by Nov. 15th (free t-shirt included) $ 185 if registered after Nov. 15th (free t-shirt NOT included)
