Third Sunday in Ordinary Time January 22, 2017

Dear Family of St. Theresa, Anne and I want to thank all of you for the prayers, encouragement and support that you have given us over these six years of formation. We know today that God often works in ways we neither expect nor understand. We had already mapped out our road for retirement; little did we know that God had chosen a different path for us. Throughout our discernment, we learned to be open to where God wants to take us and to travel the road He puts in front of us. We learned to smile at how wide the road seemed to get whenever we wondered if we were going in the right direction. I want to thank our priests and deacons (Fr. Don, Fr. Romanus, Fr. Jaime; Deacons Larry, Bill, Antonio and Juan) for the gifts of their time and knowledge. Each of these men contributed in a special way to my training, development and discernment. I especially want to thank Fr. Phil for his guidance, support and encouragement over these years. We are blessed to have these men affiliated with our parish. Many of you have asked if I will continue ministering at St. Theresa. I am thrilled to confirm that Cardinal DiNardo assigned me to serve at St. Theresa. Anne and I both look forward to continuing in, and even expanding, our ministries at St. Theresa. Thanks again to all of you. Peace and blessings, Deacon Dwight and Anne
