Allah is Batin but we don t know the Batin. Batana is inside that is hidden. That we cannot see. The wife of Imran said that whatever is in my stomach is Batan. Even the malaika didn t know where is Yunus (AS). Only Allah knows Al Batin. What is inside of us is known by Allah alone. Taloot- What is inside it is not known by Allah. If anyone is patient on Him and follow His rules are true believers. Your actual Emaan is seen when you are tested by Allah and how you respond to those tests. If you want to drink water and Allah says no you cannot drink water then this is a test. The test is important to see how you react. Surah Mumtahina tells why we need tests. We all are tested to that our emaan is revised and we know where we are standing. It s not about the number of followers it is actually about who actually follows. If a believer women comes from makkah to madinah then you test them and their emaan. From these two surah Surah Baqarah and Mumtahina we come to know that the quantity of people doesn t matter but their level of emaan matters. So Allah said don t open doors for all the people coming from makkah check their emaan. You make them wait and ask questions so if they are serious they will not leave and try their best to stay in madinah. You don t want more people in
madinah you want the real believers in madinah. So how do we know who are the real believers. If someone from the muslim become non-muslim then you return back them to kuffar but if someone becomes Muslim then they can chose to go back and then come, this was to test their emaan. If they can be patient and still stick to Islam. Allah will test us through different situations to see how we respond to these situations. Sometimes like you test people by giving them Amanah of your money to see if they are responsible. Sometimes when you apply for a job they ask you to pass so many tests and make it difficult to see your level. We know about Khizar testing through different means to see how musa responds. A believer will work in the way of Allah they will not care for people. Your faith is tested by your reaction whether you are patient or not and whether you get angry easily or if you are calm. Here for Nabi whoever comes to make a pledge, they come after a lot of difficulty and they will not get any benefit so Nabi takes pledge immediately there is no test for them. As there is no benefit that they might get unlike migration. They are told the terms and conditions to see what they will do. In migration people were giving their half houses so that was a benefit so not to encourage people taking advantage of that they were tested and filtered. We don t judge Batin in general but in some situations we need to know like in the case of hijrah so you test their emaan. Allah is all knower of the Batin of the people. This is done as a protection. Allah is the All Knower. Sometimes you might feel that people are testing you but actually they are not testing you. This is from Allah planned by Him. Sometimes the situation itself happens like this that the real motive of the person is exposed. There is a reason that Allah shows this to you. If there is something that really needs to be exposed to you Allah will expose to you so that you take action. This is the Hikmah of Allah. If there is something that Allah hides from us then there is hikmah in that. Allah can send anyone to test you. We should ask Allah to protect us from big exposure. 1) Allah is Batin as He is hidden from the eyes of the people. He is not seen and we cant see Him. 2) He is All Knower of all the hidden. Only Allah knows what is hidden. Like only He knows what is the seed inside and what will come out of that seed. If someone is hiding jealousy then that will e exposed. If you have hatred then that will be exposed too.
We need to be more cautious about our actions as Allah is watching us, people desires can change in a flick of a second so don t depend your actions on them, Only Allah and His praise is worthy enough that we act according to Him and we do what He wants. We don t care about people praising us or not. You need to be really having fear of Allah. Allah knows the hidden of us and of situations. the army of Taloot was tested by not having water when they were thirsty they were allowed to drink that much that will not kill them and this was their test whether they are patient on this or not. This was to see whether they are actually obedient. Whether they are patient on not drinking water. Allah is Aleem of what is inside of the people. it doesn t matter how you are from outside and how you show to people. It doesn t matter how intelligent you are for people. don t try to do more than what is required. Allah knows the slightest details of what we are actually. This is out of Allah s mercy. Alhamdullilah that our hearts are not transparent of people. If little was exposed we will not be able to survive with people. This is the mercy of Allah that He has beautified us in front of people. These people will be so complicated for you. When you are giving your daughter to someone don t you test them whether they pray or not. But we should not go extreme in this and test people more than required. Allah is all knower of inside of the matter too. Khizar story is the best example. He made a hole in the ship which is dhahir but Batin is that He is trying to save the poor people from the king taking the ship away so this shows sometimes the flaws that we have are a protection for us. This is the batin of the matter that is known to Allah alone. So Allah deals our matters according to what is good but we cannot see the Batin of the matter. He is the all knower of the Batin of the matters.
