I do, replied the senior angel, and I don t think He would like you to call them creeping, crawling creatures in that tone of voice. For, strange as it may seem to us, He loves them. He went down to visit them, to lift them up to become like Him. J. B. Phillips

The prayer that should be offered Jesus, I believe in You. I know that You have loved me from the beginning, and now I choose to love You, too. I realize that when You died, You had my sins in mind. I cannot live a life of joy and peace apart from You. So I accept the gift of Your forgiveness, and I rejoice that my debt of sin is paid in full! Come into my life, and guide me for the rest of my days. I now belong completely to You, and I will follow You as my Lord and my Savior forever. Amen. (by David Jeremiah)
