Thanks to everyone who attended the ministry meeting on July 8. Your feedback and encouragement is vital to the day-to-day operations of the ministry. We appreciate the Artic Mission s willingness to lend us space for the meeting. Thanks, also, to Thomas DeChauny and Paul McGowan for your service as board members.
FROM OUR MINISTRY PARTNER IN NIGERIA Thanks for one of the best news I had this year (that the ministry will send us back to Nigeria with curriculum and Bibles). By the way, we are graduating two classes next week - a total of 25 inmates. We thank GOD for the enthusiasm. Joseph Ali
INMATE TESTIMONIES I feel like the class was helpful because it brought me a little closer to God s Word. I pray a lot so it felt good to be in a class like this. I think that God has a stronger hold on my life I have a little bit better understanding of the Bible now -Inmates enrolled in Learning to Live classes VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT The last day of class was encouraging because all 10 ladies shared and prayed for each other. I believe that every lady desires to follow Jesus Christ will continue to pray for one another and seek a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. -Learning to Live Class Facilitator To learn more about becoming a prison ministry volunteer, please visit our website: GET INVOLVED
Upcoming Ministry Needs We are grateful for the DOC contract as it is very important in funding a portion of the chaplain s salary. Our goal is to raise the balance of the operational budget through fundraising. Donations allow us to purchase curriculum and Bibles, support the chaplaincy, help those in need with benevolence gifts, and purchase special event and administrative supplies. For example, in preparation for Christmas, we need funds to purchase cards for 1,000 inmates to send to their families at this special time of year. Your donation will go towards blessing families this holiday season and beyond. Please take a moment now to donate as you are able. Your gift will go a long way in helping us share Hope this Holiday season.
We appreciate the time, talents, and treasures you contribute to the evangelical work being accomplished in Rhode Island.
