2018 Greek Food & Wine Fest The festival committee would like to thank everyone who gave their precious time in volunteering at this year s Greek Food & Wine Fest. The festival was a great success and maintained the huge gains that we made last year. It is exciting and heartwarming to see so many generations coming together to make this event the success that it is. It is impossible to mention everyone by name, there are so many; there are those who worked months in advance, those who spent a whole week on site getting prepared, those who arrived first and left last each day of the weekend. Every hour given has its value; whether one hour or many, whether accompanied simply by a smiling face or dancing feet, serving hands or phone calls and emails sent. We appreciate you, your families and your generosity to the community which is St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church. The example we set for our children each year when they see how we all come together as a church family and team is so important, and it brings us joy to see our youngsters joining in the effort as age allows. Thank you to those who attended the festival and brought their friends and neighbors. We look forward to serving you again in 2019! By the time this letter is published, we will have concluded our post festival meetings to discuss what worked best this year and our wish lists for next year.
