1 IGNITED IN CHRIST Healing Ministry Setting the Captives free 1. WHO ARE WE? MINISTRY AGREEMENT 1.1 Ignited in Christ is a non-profit company with company registration number 2013/204754/08. 1.2 We are disciples of Jesus Christ that are called to minister inner healing and deliverance to believers in Jesus Christ. We do not follow any prescribed method or process but follow the powerful leading of the Holy Spirit in sessions, therefore each session is unique and very special. 1.3 Although we also attend training courses from time to time and have read several books on inner healing and deliverance, we do not have any formal training or accreditation. To the contrary, we are being trained daily in the School of the Holy Spirit with a specific view to equipping us for this ministry. 80% or more of what we know and apply comes from experience and from what God teaches us whilst we minister to people. We therefore have no titles or relevant degrees, especially so that we will not boast in anything other than the death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection by the power of the Holy Spirit on the third day. 2. WHAT DO WE DO? 2.1 We minister to people on all three (3) dimensions of their humanity namely spirit, soul and body (1 Tess. 5: 23). The aim of the ministry is deliverance and healing on all three of these dimensions. 2.2 We minister with the power of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12) as well as the Word, prayer, spiritual music and any other instrument that the Holy Spirit may place in our hands. 2.3 If and when applicable, we will also war as warriors in God s army and will make war spiritually until the demonic powers that keep God s people in bondage have gone. We however believe that the root causes of why people are in captivity should first be addressed by following certain processes under the guidance of the Holy Spirit before
2 the demonic is addressed. This makes deliverance from demonic oppression much easier and less traumatic for the person involved. 3. OUR UNDERTAKING 3.1 We undertake to minister to you in love, with the delivering and healing power of Jesus with regards to all three levels of your humanity (spirit, soul and body), for as long as it is necessary and until complete healing and deliverance has come. 3.2 We also undertake to minister God s truth regarding your situation to you without fear, compromise and a spirit of people pleasing. Our responsibility is only towards God and we try to please Him in everything we do. It is therefore very likely that you will hear things during your sessions about yourself or your situation that you are not going to appreciate or like. We will however always speak the truth (of God) in love. 3.3 Since our mandate comes from God and our responsibility is therefore also towards Him, we have the right to cancel any further sessions or to proceed with further sessions only upon certain conditions being complied with. 4. YOUR UNDERTAKING 4.1 We can only help people who want to be helped. Therefore, your positive attitude and commitment to the process is of utmost importance. 4.2 The people who are going to minister to you invest a lot of their personal time and energy (without any compensation) into the sessions. It is therefore only fair to require that people who come for ministry will also do their part by studying spiritual reading material (that was given to them as homework ) and to come prepared to their sessions. 4.3 If we should discover that any person who wants to come for sessions with Ignited in Christ does not study the reading material or does not do their homework, we reserve the right to suspend all further sessions until the reading material has been studied and the homework has been done. 4.4 You have to open yourself up to the power of the Holy Spirit through submission to the authority of God and through trusting Him and the people who will be ministering to you. 4.5 It sometimes happens that people feel better after only 1 or 2 sessions and then decide that they do not need any further sessions. It also sometimes happens that people are so disillusioned by what manifested in their sessions that they begin to fear the rest of the sessions and then convince themselves that no further sessions are required. It is always important that the inner healing and deliverance process should be completed, for the following reasons:
3 It is a known strategy of the enemy that he wants to convince people not to complete their inner healing and deliverance process since he wants to buy time to retaliate and to reinforce his strongholds in the person. It can therefore be very dangerous not to complete the process since the enemy has then already been alerted and he may retaliate heavily to regain lost ground in the person s soul and body; and In some cases people feel better after a few sessions and then convince themselves that it is not necessary to complete the inner healing and deliverance process. It is however very important to remove all the roots why certain demons etc. came in, in the first place. If all the roots have not been removed, the enemy may regain his lost territory and may even come back seven-fold. The person that wants to come for inner healing therefore should be very committed and has to undertake to complete all the sessions that are required. Ignited in Christ (under the guidance of the Holy Spirit) will decide in its sole discretion how many sessions are required and when the healing process is complete. We always prefer to work thoroughly and therefore quite a few sessions may be necessary. Ignited in Christ therefore does not accept any responsibility for any negative outcome in the lives of people if they do not complete all of their sessions and choose to discontinue the process (or if they suspend the process indefinitely). In the event that people (who discontinued their process indefinitely) want to continue their inner healing and deliverance after a while, they will have to wait their turn since we are following a waiting list and may then already have committed to other people whose processes first have to be finished. We prefer, in general, to work with people that are committed to the process and are prepared to endure and are obedient to Jesus by submitting completely to the authority of the Holy Spirit. Something to remember: Some people come for inner healing and then literally thousands of years captivity through their blood lines are discovered. To undo captivity ranging over thousands of years and to take back all of that territory from the enemy usually takes several sessions and people have to be realistic about it. 5. DISCLAIMER 5.1 I declare that I come out of my own free will to be ministered to and has not been unduly influenced by any person. 5.2 I understand that I may discontinue the process at any time if I do not want to proceed and I do not have to provide any reasons. 5.3 I absolve Ignited in Christ and any person directly or indirectly associated with the ministry of any prosecution and also specifically of any claim for damages if I should be hurt, injured or prejudiced during or following any of the sessions.
4 5.4 I therefore freely accept the risk of the ministry but believe and trust that Jesus will protect me and will cause everything to work together for my good. 5.5 If I should, after my sessions with Ignited in Christ, experience serious attacks from the enemy which should e.g. cause me to become seriously depressed, emotionally unstable, extremely violent, seriously aggressive or even prone to committing suicide or murder, it will be my sole responsibility to inform Ignited in Christ thereof and to request that another session be scheduled for me. The enemy often comes with counter attacks to try to regain lost territory. I understand this spiritual phenomenon and therefore I will not blame Ignited in Christ if such things do happen. I solely accept the risk for the final outcome in my spirit, soul and body upon completion of my sessions and will not hold Ignited in Christ responsible for any prejudice and/or negative consequence in my life or the lives of others, after the completion of my sessions. 5.6 I realise that the sessions may be very tiring and that I may be feeling tired or drained for a couple of days after each session. This is therefore to be expected and people have to plan accordingly (e.g. do not come for a session just before a big examination or a very important assignment at work). 5.7 No person may discontinue or change medical treatment or medication based upon what happened in a session except if it happens under the supervision of a qualified medical doctor or psychologist. Although we personally believe in the healing power of God and know that many people receive complete healing of various bodily and psychiatric ailments, we will not accept any responsibility if people should decide to stop taking prescription medicine or no longer follows doctors instructions. Decisions to stop taking medication or to discontinue medical treatment are taken at the risk of the person whom we ministered to and is something between that person and God and Ignited in Christ will not accept any responsibility in that regard. 6. CONSENT TO VIDEO-RECORDING OF SESSIONS 6.1 I give my full consent to the video-recording of my sessions. Ignited in Christ place on record that video-recording of sessions is necessary for the following reasons: Protection of Ignited in Christ and the people who minister against complaints, charges and prosecution so that it may serve as proof of the truth and what was said and what transpired in each and every session; and For purposes of debriefing (sometimes people are not aware of what happened during a session and then the video may be used to show them and to explain to them what happened), if needed. 6.2 I acknowledge that the videos that were recorded are the sole property of Ignited in Christ and that I have no right to it and cannot claim to obtain a copy there of. Copies of video-recordings will only be made available to the person who we ministered to in the sole discretion of Ignited in Christ.
5 7. UNDERTAKING TO CONFIDENTIALITY 7.1 Ignited in Christ, as well as every person that is directly or indirectly associated with the ministry, undertakes to keep the video material as well as all information obtained from sessions and the questionnaire, strictly confidential and will not disclose it to anybody outside of the ministry without written permission of the person who was ministered to. Exceptions to the rule: 7.2 If, however, any as yet unreported statutory crime should come to the attention of Ignited in Christ during sessions, we will have no other choice than to report such crime to the prosecuting authorities and our undertaking to confidentiality will therefore not apply. 7.3 As soon as a copy of any video has been given to the person who was ministered to by Ignited in Christ, we can no longer take any responsibility for keeping confidential what transpired during those particular session(s). 8. FEES/DONATIONS 8.1 Ignited in Christ received instructions from our Lord Jesus to minister to people free from charge so that money will not play any role in the Kingdom of God (Matthew 10:8). We therefore do not charge the people we minister to any fees. 8.2 The main source of income of this ministry is donations and some team members are full time in ministry and therefore has no other income. (3 Joh. 1:8) 8.3 Donations (also monthly debit orders) in order to support this ministry financially are therefore accepted with great appreciation if made directly in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ. The donation or debit order also has to be motivated from a heart full of appreciation for the delivering and healing power of Jesus Christ. 8.4 In an attempt to remain impartial and independent, we prefer not to know who made us a donation. 6 8.6 Donations may also be made via our webpage: www.ignitedinchrist.org. (Important: Donations to Ignited in Christ are not deductible for income tax purposes under section 18A or any other section or provision of the Income Tax Act no. 58 of 1962.) 9. WAITING LIST I understand that there is a waiting list of people that wants to be ministered to and that Ignited in Christ s time and energy is limited. I therefore understand that I have to be patient and have to wait for my turn to be ministered to. If my situation becomes life threatening to myself and/or to others and I should therefore receive priority, it will still be my responsibility to disclose these circumstances to Ignited in Christ. Even then, I will not be able to demand to be helped immediately and it remains in Ignited in Christ s sole discretion. Ignited in Christ refuses to be manipulated by any person or institution (not even with money) to give any person preference above anybody else on the waiting list. Ignited in Christ will however keep in contact with you during your waiting period and will give periodic feedback of how long it may still take before you will be ministered to. Please pray with us that our Lord Jesus Christ will prepare more warriors for this kind of ministry and that Ignited in Christ (and all similar ministries) will expand and that more children of God will be helped in this way. 10. HONOUR AND GLORY Ignited in Christ does not accept any honour, praise or glory for any healing and/or deliverance that comes during sessions. The honour, praise and glory belongs to JESUS CHRIST AND OUR TRIUNE GOD, FATHER, SON (JESUS CHRIST) AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. We acknowledge that without Him (who works with us and whose power it is that heals and delivers), this ministry will not be able to do anything. It is Him who, through the power of His Holy Spirit, saves, convinces, abolishes strongholds, heals, delivers, reconstructs and empowers. We are only the humble instruments in His hands that obey Him in following His great commission (Marc 16:15-18; Matthew 28: 18-20).
