KAPAMILYA, KAPUSO, KAPATID Pastor Ronald Molmisa Generation 3:16 Ministries Matthew 22:36-39 Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Love God. Love People. Don t look at the Christians. Look at JESUS! Don t look at the FAIL! Christians. Look at JESUS! 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1

1 John 2:5,6 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. Be CAREFUL how you live. You may be the only Bible some people read. Ephesians 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith For we are God s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Personal Piety versus Social Action all Christians ought to be maladjusted to things like injustice, greed, materialism and racism. -James Bryan Smith GOSPEL = Proclamation (words) + Demonstration (action) 2

We must LOVE like Jesus IDENTIFICATION IDENTIFICATION He became one with the people John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Philippians 2:5-7 For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. General William Booth and the Salvation Army 3

Arunachalam Muruganantham Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne and I myself have founded great empires; but upon what did these creations of our genius depend? Upon force. Jesus alone founded His empire upon love, and to this very day millions will die for Him... Napoleon Bonaparte COMPASSION Matthew 14:13-14 (GNB) When Jesus heard the news about John, he left there in a boat and went to a lonely place by himself. The people heard about it, and so they left their towns and followed him by land. Jesus got out of the boat, and when he saw the large crowd, his heart was filled with pity for them, and he healed their sick. God s love compels us to help people 4

Recite JOHN 3:16 1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. SERVICE He rolled-up His sleeves! SERVICE The essence of Christianity has always been a focus on serving others Mark 10:42-45 (MKJV) But whoever desires to be great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever of you desires to become first, he shall be servant of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. 5

John 13:1-5, 13-17 It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love. The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. Christians are SERVANTS You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. We learn compassion by practicing it 6

If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one. -Mother Theresa you will be blessed if you do them. Love God. Love People. 7
