TODAY IN SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday School will be held today after the 7:45 a.m. Worship Service. The lesson is Injustice Is Intolerable and the scriptures comes from Amos 2:4-8. The lesson for next Sunday is Justice Is Not Just Us and the scripture is Amos 5:14-15, 18-27. Please join us and be renewed by the teaching of God s Word. IN MEMORY The flowers on the Baptistery are given in memory of Deacon William Bill Harding. The memory of his love for God, his family, his community, and his beloved Antioch Baptist Church North will always remain in our hearts! The flowers are given by his wife, Wendy Harding; his daughters, Wanda Harding and Tonja Harding Ward; his son-in-law, Charlie Ward; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Hope, and Joshua Ward. Vacation Bible School 2015 Adventures At Sea Diving Deeper for God s Treasures will be held from Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12. Classes for the entire family will be available. Members and friends are encouraged to attend.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING SESSION On Saturday, June 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., all auxiliary leaders are asked to attend a Leadership Training Session. This will be a working session where you and representatives from your Ministry are asked to plan proposed events for the 2016 church calendar. The Pastor is asking for 3 representatives from your Ministry to participate in the planning. BREAST CANCER WALK On Sunday, June 14, 2015, after both services, we will kick off the Sisters by Choice breast cancer walk with registration in the narthex and a Pink Reception held on the Plaza. Men of Antioch are asked to wear pink shirts or ties and women and children to wear pink as well. Antioch breast cancer survivors will be available with special announcements and more information about the walk. This is a family affair. Let s get ready to support the survivors, their families, and all those impacted by breast cancer. REV. PHILLIP SPANN INSTALLATION Also On Sunday, June 14, at 4:00 p.m. the Antioch Family will worship with the Shiloh Baptist Church in the installation of their new Pastor, Rev. Phillip Spann. Pastor Spann is the brother of our deceased member, Sherri Spann, whose parents still contribute to a scholarship in her name. The Antioch Choir, Ushers, Deacons, and Mothers are asked to be on duty. The Church is located at 1150 West View Drive, Atlanta, 30310. Members and friends are encouraged to attend. ORIENTATION CLASSES Members who joined Antioch and have not completed the required orientation classes are asked to attend one of the classes during the next three Sundays after the 7:45 a.m. Worship Services. Adult members are asked to attend three classes and youth are asked to attend one class. For more information, please contact Sis. Gwen Johnson in the church office at 404-688-5679. Baptism and the Right Hand of Fellowship will be held on Sunday, June 28, during the 11:00 service. Candidates for Baptism and persons receiving the Right Hand of Fellowship are asked to meet downstairs in Rooms 10, 11 & 12 to dress for the special ceremonies.

HUMAN SERVICES MINISTRY For the week ending May 30, 2015, 591 bags of food were distributed. A total of 10,000 pounds of food was distributed, and 484 meals served to AUMI residents. CLOTHING BANK Thirty (30) families received goods through the Clothing Bank. DEBIT/CREDIT CARD READER Attention Members and Friends for your convenience, Antioch now offers a Debit & Credit Card Reader for giving your Tithes & Offerings. This service is available on Sundays after each service, and is located just outside the door next to the elevator. WEEKLY PRAYER MEETING & BIBLE STUDY Weekly Prayer Meeting and Bible Study is held at the Church every Wednesday evening. For your convenience, dinner is served at 5pm and Bible classes begin at 6:15pm. These classes provide instructional and training opportunities to gain deeper insights into the teachings of Jesus Christ. At 7pm, Pastor Alexander will lead the Prayer Meeting and provide guidance and spiritual insights into meaningful ways in which we can strengthen our personal relationships with God. YOUR VALUABLES For security reasons, members and friends are asked to not leave personal items on car seats. If nothing of value is seen through the car windows, persons may not be enticed to vandalize. Please help the Security Ministry keep your cars SAFE! E V A N G E L I S M TERRY WEST BIBLE CLASS Members and friends are encouraged to join the Terry West Bible Class every Wednesday morning, from 10am to 12 Noon in Burden s Rest. Come share in the fellowship and study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. We are currently studying the Book of Job. You are also invited to remain for the Noonday Worship Service.
