He has since served as a Bishop and is currently serving as the Branch President of the Peace River Spanish Branch in the Bradenton Stake. He is the owner of The Martinez Group LBCOT Insurance and Financial Services in Sarasota.. President Stephen Thompson is a Board Certified Real Estate attorney and a partner in a large law firm. He calls himself a dirt lawyer. President Thompson moved to southern Florida in March of 1987. He was raised in the Church in Utah. His, wife Donna, is a convert that joined the Church with her family in Florida. They have raised six children. February 28 th, 1999 President Thompson was called as President of the Fort Myers Stake. He served valiantly during this special time, growing stake membership and moving dirt for 5 new chapels during his tenure. He was released in September of 2008 and currently serves as a Counselor in the Tampa Bay Mission Presidency. Bishop Troy Dunn has made numerous guest appearances on Good Morning America, Regis & Kelly, 48 Hours, Sixty Minutes, and has even been interviewed by Barbara Walters! He was the host of the NBC reality show, "Extreme Reunion" where he helped make people's dreams come true!
