L epers Share the Good New s Scripture: 2Kings 6:24-7:20 When Jehoram was reigning over the Israel, the people of Syria attacked Israel. Syrians besieged the city of Samaria. In the city the people suffered the shortage of food and the price was skyrocketing. Some people, in desperate starvation, even cooked and ate their children. King Jehoram sent a messenger to Elisha the Prophet. Elisha said, Tomorrow at this time, the price of the food will go down significantly. The officer whom King Jehoram sent did not believe Elisha. Even if God would make windows in heaven, could this thing be? There were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate to Samaria. These leprous men were abandoned from living in the city. They spoke to each other, Even if we enter the city, we shall die from famine. And if we sit here, we will die also. Let's surrender to the army of Syrians and live. They arose and went to the camp of the Syrians. To their surprise, no one was there. The Syrian army had fled leaving behind them all the gold, silver, clothes, and food. God cause the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and horses - the noise of a great army and they fled in fear. The lepers ate and drank, hid gold, silver, and clothes. But they changed their minds. We are not doing right. This da is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king's household.

Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king's household. The lepers spread the good news to the people in the city. The king of Israel sent his servants to verify the truthfulness of the news and it was confirmed true. The news spread and the people of Israel went out and plundered the tents of the Syrians and took for themselves gold, silver, clothes, and great amount of food. Sadly, the officer who didn't believe Elisha was trampled by the people as he stood by the gate when the news spread.

The news spread and the people of Israel went out and plundered the tents of the Syrians and took for themselves gold, silver, clothes, and great amount of food. Sadly, the officer who didn't believe Elisha was trampled by the people as he stood by the gate when the news spread. Ultimately, the good news the lepers shared saved many people, and everything happened as God said.

1. What happened to the people of Israel when the Syrian army besieged the city? 2. What did the people of Israel need the most? What do these lepers mean by good news? Who spread the good news to the people in the city of Samaria? What is the reason the belittled lepers were able to proclaim the good news in the city? Choose all that doesn't apply. ( ) Because they knew the good news Because they feared punishment if they don't share the good news Because if they don't spread the good news, many will starve to death Because the people in the city of Samaria were nice

What kind of feet does God say is beautiful? Feet that plays soccer Feet that evangelizes Feet that does Taekwondo Feet that are washed Do you know the best news in the world that everyone need to hear? What is that news? Why is that such a good news and why does everyone need to hear it? Just like what the lepers said, write how you're determining to evangelize. Just as you made resolution, share with others the good news. And talk with your friends about the result of your evangelism. One who know the good news can't keep himself from sharing it because those who hear the good news and go to heaven when they believe.
