LUNCH BUNCH La Jolla 1910-1930, A Historical Appetizer Caring for Aging Parents a panel discussion with Q & A May 1, 7:00 pm, La Jolla Presbyterian Church Please join the congregations of St. James by-the-sea and La Jolla Presbyterian Church at an event for adult children faced with the challenges of caring for aging parents. Panelists Amy Abrams, the Director of Education for Alzheimer s San Diego, Dr. Steve Koh, Director of UCSD s Community Psychiatry Program Dr.Diane Beach, a renowned San Diego Gerontologist. The discussion will be moderated by Reverend Stan Beard of La Jolla Presbyterian. Each panelist will present the services and resources they provide and audience members will have a chance to ask questions. This will help enlighten them on ways to effectively manage care and resources for a loved one who is aging, or has a cognitive impairment (Alzheimer s and related dementia, or traumatic brain injury).
