PARISH INCENTIVE PROGRAM Launch date Began with CSA 16-17 Ends with parish & donor reception with the Bishops on September 30 Measurements for 17-18 Achieve CSA 17-18 goal Achieve CSA 17-18 challenge goal Deanery achieves goal YOY increase in the number of gifts A priest from the parish attends a CSA training or the Priest Luncheon on October 24 Show the CSA video at the parish All priests in Deanery make a pledge How the program works: A parish receives one ticket for achieving any of the above measurements All tickets will be gathered at the reception The Bishop picks 5 winning tickets Five parishes will be granted $5,000 for their parish operations Parish must be present to win Parishes will receive recognition for achieving their goals

RETURN PROCEDURES Return Procedures Letter Concepts is our third-party partner located in Connecticut that processes our in-pew pledges Letter Concepts handles the mailing of our direct pledge cards Work with over 3,200 parishes nationwide PCI and SAS-70 Type II compliant Use a safe lock box method to receive payments Parishes find the process quick and easy to complete Have teams that are experienced in our processing methods They will receive over 10,000 pieces of mail over the first two weeks after commitment weekend

CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL 7-Step Easy Process Complete the Transmittal Form 1) Count all sealed pledge envelopes and place them in the Return Mailer. DO NOT OPEN THEM! 2) Count all loose checks and place them in the Return Mailer. 3) Collect all loose cash and change and put it into one pledge envelope. Write Anonymous, your parish name, and parish ID number on the pledge envelope and place it in the Return Mailer. This counts as one (1) pledge envelope in your envelope total. 4) Total the number of pledge envelopes, the number of loose checks, and the anonymous cash envelope, and write this number on the line Total # of Envelopes. 5) Mail first two batches to the processing center. Send remaining batches to the Stewardship and Development Office. OBTAIN A TRACKING # 6) Include this completed form in the Return Mailer and mail to: Letter Concepts, Inc. CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL Return Procedures Tips Review the Return Procedures in your folder. Follow the step-by-step instructions. Do NOT open pledge envelopes as Letter Concepts uses lockbox technology. They need to be positive that the pledge envelope contains exactly what the donor put in it. When the envelope reaches them already opened, they can no longer make that guarantee. Send completed batches to the Processing Center immediately. If you want to write a check for the anonymous cash, do not delay your envelope. You can send the check in the envelope the following week.
