SEEKING ADDITIONAL YOUTH MINISTRY WISDOM: Meet in the Youth Room with your cookie and cup of coffee. We would like to do one more listening session with middle school, high school youth and their parents before we launch a Youth Director Search Team. A nursery is available near the ARC. BUSY BAGS for children up to the age of 6 are available at the entry to the ARC for use during worship. Please return them where you picked them up following the service. Please join us for a time of fellowship in the Gathering Place following worship. Pastor Kevin is on vacation through today and will return to the office tomorrow, Monday, July 9. MONDAY: 12 Tables Team meeting. TUESDAY: Baseball practice in the ARC 5:30-9:00pm. Supervising Consistory meeting @ 7:00pm. WEDNESDAY: Serving Together @ 8:30am. Praise Team Practice. NEXT SUNDAY MORNING we will worship outdoors at Lakeview Park with our neighboring churches Park Church and Embody Christ. The park is located near Central Park Church at the end of Floral Ave, between Bay & Black Bass. The service will be held at 10:00am. A combined praise team will provide the music and each of the three pastors will provide a part of the message from Luke 10:25-27 called Gospel Neighboring. All gifts given in church envelopes will go to the respective churches. Undesignated gifts will be given to Kids Food Basket. Bring a lawn chair or blanket as well as your friends and neighbors. ORDINATION & INSTALLATION of Elders & Deacons will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Jay Hescott & Nancy Deters will be ordained & installed as elders. Doug Kooiker & Jen Werley will also be installed as elders. Shane Piers & Kyle Wright will be installed as deacons. ARE YOU A ONE DAY WITH GOD VOLUNTEER: Volunteers are needed for a One Day With God event at the Brooks Correctional Facility in Muskegon on July 28. One Day with God is the ministry where volunteers accompany children into a prison to spend a day with their incarcerated fathers. Several volunteers from Central Park took part last fall. CENTRAL PARK CHURCH HAPPY GRAM : Ever wish you had something on which to jot a note of encouragement to a fellow worshipper at on a Sunday morning? The Shepherding Elders have created Happy Gram note cards. They are available on the shelf in the sanctuary entryway. Pick one up, jot a note, and put it in the person s mailbox.

He had hip replacement on July 1. He is at Resthaven Care for rehabilitation. Please pray that he heals quickly and has a positive attitude to get up and get going again. Marylou VanHeest is recovering from a fractured hip. The family is requesting prayer that she is comfortable and adjusts well to being in a wheel chair permanently. Also, pray for Neil as he adjusts to this change in Marylou s condition. Sandi VanHouten may walk up to 2 hours a day while wearing the surgical boot. When not walking, she must keep the foot elevated. PRAY FOR OUR CAMPER: Ava Piers will be attending Day Camp at Camp Geneva this week (July 9-13). Please pray for her safety and God s blessing on her experience. HOMEBOUND: Our homebound member for the month of July is Rosze Kortman. Her address is 1760 West 32 nd Street, Holland MI 49423. Remember Rosze in your prayers and with a card. SYMPATHY: We express our sympathy to Lee & Phil Garvelink & family. Lee s older brother, Roger Garvelink, passed away Tuesday afternoon. We pray they will know the presence and comfort of Jesus.
