UNLIMITED PRAYER FRONTIERS (SOUTH AFRICA) International Prayer Journeys for 2017 Herewith a list of different international prayer projects for 2017 that will be undertaken by UPFSA. We challenge you to make yourself available to become part of one of these teams and to join us in impacting the nations through prayer. These projects present opportunities for believers to grow immensely in their walk with God and their perspectives of the kingdom and the nations. If you have never been on a prayer journey, we encourage you to take the faith step. You will not be disappointed! The nations to which we will undertake prayer journeys in 2017 are: Mauritius France The Netherlands Thailand Switzerland Tanzania (Lake Tanganyika) India Herewith the details: 1. UPF Prayer Journey to Mauritius Proposed Date: 19 April 3 May 20172017 Type of ministry trip: Strategic intercession and prayer. Purpose: To pray for the nation unto the removal of strongholds that cause the gospel to be ineffective so that the Mauritian people can come to Jesus. As well as encouragement and prayer for local ministries that work among local people. Who may go: Christian born again believers with an interest in prayer and a heart for Mauritius and the island nations of the Indian Ocean. These preparation meetings are non-optional as it is essential for success of teams in France. 2. UPF Prayer Journey to France Proposed Date: 2 16 May 2017 (Dates are provisional and may change slightly.) Type of ministry trip: Strategic intercession and prayer. Purpose: To pray for the nation of our spiritual heritage (whether Basotho or Huguenot), to pray that God would bring destruction to demonic influences that keep the French away from God; to pray that the French wil be awakened and seek God in these challenging times. Who may go: Christian born again believers with an interest in prayer and a heart for the nations. We also would like to stir local believers with Huguenot and Basotho ancestry to join the team to pray back into their spiritual roots and discover the faith of their spiritual forefathers. It is essential that team members should be fit and healthy. 3 Proposed Date: 14-26 May 2017 Type of ministry trip: Intercession, prayer and encouragement Purpose: To pray with and for local believers and work with local prayer groups and 24/7 prayer rooms in strategic prayer. Who may go: Christian born again believers with an interest in prayer and a heart for The Netherlands as well as believers with Dutch ancestry. These preparation meetings are non-optional as it is essential for success of team. 4. UPF Operations Capital Europe Prayer Team Talinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia) and Villnius (Lithuania). Proposed Date: 18 31 May 2017 (Dates are provisional and may still change.) Type of ministry trip: Strategic intercession and prayer for European capitals. Purpose: To pray with YWAM Europe intercessors in the capitals of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuanua. The trip will include prayer training days. Who may go: Christian born again believers with an interest in prayer and who has a calling to pray for the nations of Europe. UPF Prayer Journey to Thailand Proposed Date: 24 June - 9 July 2017 (Dates are provisional and may still change.) Type of ministry trip: Intercession and prayer, as well as encouraging and helping local ministries and missionaries. Purpose: To pray for the nation unto the removal of strongholds that cause the gospel to be ineffective so that the Thai people can come to Jesus. Who may go: Christian born again believers with an interest in prayer and a heart for Asia. UPF Prayer Journey to Tanzania (Lake Tanganyika) Proposed Date: 17 26 September 2017 Type of ministry trip: Intercession and prayer Purpose: Strategic and focused prayer for Lake Tanganyika with believers from the four nations from around the Lake. The soil needs to be prepared and the walls rebuilt. Who may go: Christian born again believers with an interest in prayer and a heart for Africa. These meetings will be issues related to the trip, / receive relevant teachings, / research and study information related to the country / and receive strategy and guidance from the Holy Spirit in prayer. These preparation meetings are non-optional as it is essential for the success of the project. 8. UPF Prayer Journey to India Proposed Date: 4 18 October 2017 (Dates are provisional and may change slightly). Type of ministry trip: Strategic intercession and prayer. Purpose: To pray for the nation of India specifically to target the northern provinces of India. These areas are the least evangelised, poorest and most populous regions of India. It is situated in the Hindu belt and is bound by many demonic practices. Who may go: Christian born again believers with an interest in prayer and a heart for the nation of India. It is essential that team members should be healthy and very fit.
