Our Lady of Fatima 100th Anniversary: This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Blessed Mother appearing to the three young shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal. The three children, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta, going about their normal everyday activities in the grass fields of rural Fatima, experienced a truly amazing gift from Our Lady of Fatima. As the weather began to change, clouds wind and thunder rolled in, and the three scurried to gather up the sheep and make the journey back home. Suddenly, at this time, a beautiful Lady clothed in white illuminated, appeared to them in the sky above the Cova. This apparition of Our Blessed Mother, and the message she gave to them that day, will be the topic, and focus at our conference this summer August 5, 2017.

ASSISTANCE NEEDED As always, here at Trinity Heights Queen of Peace, we need your help! Our only source of income, the only way we can continue to offer this beautiful tribute to the Blessed Mother and Her Son Jesus Christ, is with your financial assistance. With three buildings and over 16 acres to continually maintain, it can only continue with your help. We have a very small staff, with a wonderful group of volunteers to assist us that allows us to keep our overhead costs down, but the buildings continue to age, and the grounds need constant care. Your tax-deductible donations are so greatly appreciated, thank you! THOUGHTS FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Trinity Heights Queen of Peace continues to be a very, very busy place. It is the summer season and we are welcoming tour groups from all across the country. This past year we again held the National Day of Remembrance Prayer service at our Circle of Life site, concluded another wonderful Summer Series, led the Divine Mercy Novena and Divine Mercy Sunday Celebration for the Sioux City area, and held the Virtual Tour of Our Lady of Lourdes at the Marian Center. This year is another busy year of events with the International Traveling Statue of Our Lady of Fatima coming June 1, and this year s Summer Series beginning June 7th. The focus of the Summer Series this year is the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, and will conclude with an event you simply will not want to miss, The Holy Relics of Our Lord s Passion. Trinity Heights is bringing to Sioux City one of the most remarkable Holy Relics tours ever to visit Sioux City. Nine Relics, including pieces of the Cross, and pieces of the Crown of Thorns, will be some of the Relics you will be able to see, and venerate! ALL THIS and the Our Lady of Fatima Conference this August! So, as you can see, we continue to carry on the tradition of Evangelization brought here over 25 years ago by Fr. Cooper. The Blessed Mother continues to bless us with Her gifts, and we are committed to continuing to spread the Good News of Her Blessings, and Her message to all. PRAY THE ROSARY!! And Mary s most important message, grow closer to Her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessings and Peace, 5

P.O. Box 1707 Sioux City, Iowa 51102 The Sioux City Notre Dame Club May 6, 2017 at Trinity Heights On May 6, the Notre Dame Club of Sioux City returned to Trinity Heights to assist in an assortment of grounds clean-up. This group continues to bless Trinity Heights with their hard work every year. This year a great group showed up to offer their assistance in a cleanup of the newly renovated Stations of the Cross area of the Outdoor Cathedral here at Trinity Heights. Their efforts are so very much appreciated, as we continue to maintain our grounds, over 16 acres with a very small staff, and group of volunteers. The Notre Dame Club started their morning with the First Saturday Mass at the Divine Mercy Chapel, and then headed out onto the grounds and accomplished a great deal while they were here. We thank all from the Notre Dame Club who came to work this year, and every year they continue to bless us with their services! 6
