UPDATE: Our Parish Goal: $47,000.00, Total Raised: $47,866.00, Over: $866.00 CONGRATULATIONS! Thank you to all who have contributed to the appeal and helped us reach our goal for 2017! This is quite remarkable! There is still time to give remember, whatever we raise above the goal, 75% comes back to the parish. Thank you again and well done, Seton! LAST CHANCE TO BECOME A KNIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!! Our Knights of Columbus is winding down their membership drive with an Induction Ceremony this Tuesday, December 12th, at 6pm in our church hall. As Knights, we understand that your life is busy with work, family, & extra -curricular activities. You may think you do not have time to dedicate to the Knights. Well, we would like to let you know that any time, no matter how much or little donated to the Knights, is very much appreciated. We would rather have you with us whenever you are available, than not with us at all! For more information about signing up, please call or text Mark Perugino, Grand Knight, at 570-262-2896. Thank you! SOCIAL CONCERNS COMMITTEE It might be easy to run away to a monastery, away from the commercialization, the hectic hustle, the demanding family responsibilities of Christmas-time. Then we would have a holy Christmas. But we would forget the lesson of the Incarnation, of the enfleshing of God-the lesson that we who are followers of Jesus do not run from the secular; rather we try to transform it. It is our mission to make holy the secular aspects of Christmas just as the early Christians baptized the Christmas tree. And we do this by being holy people no matter how maddening is the Chrismas rush -Father Andrew Greely THANK YOU FROM THE KNIGHTS Our Knights of Columbus send a big THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Breakfast Buffet last Sunday. Our new venue in the church hall was a great success! Thanks again to all! SAINT ELIZABETH ANN SETON, PRAY FOR US!
