Volume 134 Issue 4 Hawkins County Pregnancy HELP Center Update by Kelly Snodgrass Page 3 Greetings friends!! I can not believe a year has passed since I began working at the Pregnancy Center. It has been my privilege to be a part of the Pregnancy Help Center ministry this year. I am very thankful for the opportunity to minister to the women and families of Hawkins County through the Pregnancy Center. God is the leader and the reason for and behind the ministry. He is due all credit and praise. As the ministry continues to grow, my sincere desire is to see people come to know Christ and then to be discipled as a part of a local church. In 2017, the Pregnancy Center ministered to close to 75 moms and over 150 children. I pray that the Lord will continue to use the Center to help the families of Hawkins County. BABY BOTTLES!! This will be the 5 th year for the annual Baby Bottle Drive to raise money for the Pregnancy Center. It is so easy to collect *Change for LIFE*! Just come by the HVBA office and pick up your bottles or call me at the Center (272-7309) and I will be happy to deliver them. Fill the bottles with change, bills, or checks. Return the bottles to your church or to the HVBA office by the end of February. Please help us share God s love and Truth with the women and children of Hawkins County! I am so thankful for your prayers and support. Legal Issues Seminar Monday February 12th, 6:30 PM Oak Grove Baptist Church Mr. William Maxwell of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board will be leading this seminar. We have a concrete parking area which is a magnet for snow and ice in very cold temperatures. Freezing conditions make it difficult to drive or walk on this parking area. Therefore, we do not hesitate to close the office when we think having it open would be a danger to our visitors and us. When the weather is uncertain, please call our office, 272-7318 or 272-7309 before planning to travel our way. If we re closed we will try to leave a message letting you know. If it is cold and snowing with accumulation we will probably be closed if you call and no one answers the phone. Please leave your name, message and phone number and we will return your call as soon as possible. We will also post any closings on our Facebook page.
