Sunday Worship Celebration Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Psalm 95:1-3 July 1, 2018 6th Sunday after Pentecost 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. Welcome and Announcements Prelude *Call to Worship America the Beautiful Come, let us come together to Glorify our God. Glory to God in the Highest! Peace on the earth! Goodwill to all people! Because of the sacrifice of thousands of lives, we are able to worship freely. In the freedom we have gained, we come not out of fear or persecution. On this Sunday proceeding our Independence Day. We thank our God for the blessing we have received. Let us pray. O Lord our God, fill us with gratitude and thankfulness for the rights and privileges we have because of you and those faithful who have gone before us. In this worship time, open our eyes to new directions of purpose to the service of your people. Renew in us courage to stand up for the rights we enjoy so that the world may know the freedom to worship you. *Hymn of Praise UMH 696 America the Beautiful *Passing the Peace of Christ Sacrament of Holy Baptism (9:30 a.m.)
