A Look at Essay Responses 1) The Greeks told good stories. This is like today, we also tell very good stories. 2) The Greeks wrote stories about their life and war like Alexander the Great. Ms. Leu makes us also write stories about our life too. 3) The Greeks wrote stories about their gods such as Zeus, about war such as the Trojan War and Alexander the Great. They also wrote plays about their life in tragedies, comedies. Today people also write stories about themselves in narrative writings and in novels like The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. Some authors also write about the Greek gods today like the author Rick Riordan who writes of Percy Jackson the son of Poseidon, Neptune.

A Look at Essay Responses 1) The Greeks had sports games. They were very exciting. I liked them. They had the Olympics. We have the Olympics today too. The Olympics today are very cool too! Yeah! : ) : ) : ) 2) The Greeks believed sports were very important. They not only trained their minds but also their bodies. They held the Olympic Games for their god Zeus. In their games they had running, spear throwing, chariot races, and discus throw. Today some people continue to train their bodies to stay healthy. We also have Olympic Games today. It is like the Greeks, we have them every four years. We continue to have some of the same sports like running but we also have many more like winter sports, swimming, and water sports today. The best athletes around the world come compete today. Just like the best athletes in Greece competed 3000 years ago.

What you could write today 1) The Roman Empire was terrible. It sucked. I really didn t like it. Because all the leaders were crazy because they were so stupid they ate lead. Lead kills people! So that is why it ended. THE END. 2) The Roman Empire was the greatest empire in Europe. However, it was also completely destroyed at the end. There are many theories (ideas) why it fell. Four of the theories are:,,,. I will explain why is the best theory and the biggest reason for the fall of the empire.

What you could write today 1) I believe mercenary soldiers were the main reason that the Roman Empire fell because they just wanted money so they didn t care about the army. And when they got the money, they just left. 2) I believe mercenary soldiers were the main reason that the Roman Empire fell because they were greedy and fought for money, not honor. The mercenary soldiers were not like Julius Caesar who fought for his honor. So when the fighting got very hard, maybe they decided to change and fight for the winner and stopped fighting for the loser. Also it says the mercenary soldiers were wild so maybe the captains can not control them very well and they went against their leaders

What you could write today 1) I believe civil war was the main reason that the Roman Empire fell because when they fought with their friends and family they are sad : ( and then they die. Also then less and less people are in the country and then they will all die. DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE. Did I say they will DIE??!! 2) I believe civil war was the main reason that the Roman Empire fell because when they fought against each other, they destroyed both their own people and land. So there are less good soldiers that can fight and less leaders. Also if their land is destroyed Another reason is

What you could write today 1) Even though some people think civil war is the main reason for the fall of the Roman Empire, I do not think so because civil war is just an small argument. You know, like between friends. So when they stop fighting each other, they will be okay again. Like me and my friend. 2) Even though some people think civil war is the main reason for the fall of the Roman Empire, I do not think so because many other countries also have civil wars but they were not destroyed. Like in the US, they have a big civil war, but they are still a strong country today. Also civil war can sometimes help train people to fight better

What you could write today 1) Even though some people think mercenaries is the main reason for the fall of the Roman Empire, I do not think so because mercenaries are stupid. You know, they are barbarians. They don t know how to read and write. How can they destroy the Roman Empire?! 2) Even though some people think mercenaries is the main reason for the fall of the Roman Empire, I do not think so because mercenaries not the leaders of the army. They are only the soldiers. So I think

The Roman Empire was the greatest empire. However, it was also completely destroyed at the end. There are many theories (ideas) why it fell. Four of the theories are:,,,. I will explain why is the best theory for the fall of the empire. I believe was the main reason that the Roman Empire fell because first Second..Third Fourth.. Next. Also..Furthermore. Last Finally.. Some people think is the main reason for the fall of the Roman Empire. However, I do not think so because. Finally, other people think that is the main reason for the fall of the Roman Empire but I also disagree with this because. In conclusion is the reason for the fall of the Roman Empire.
