Things To Know Thank you for sending your child to VBS at Foothills Bible Church! We are glad to have your family participate with us. Attached is an overview of what your child(ren) will be learning and doing through the week. Tennis shoes and sunscreen are recommended. A light snack will be served. Please have your child eat a hearty breakfast! Important check-in and check-out procedures: 4/5 year olds & Kindergarteners: Class assignments will be posted as you enter the lower level (go left when you pull in to the church parking lot). Your child will go to the same classroom each day. Check-in your child on the computers in the lower lobby. One tag will go on your child & the other tag is required to pick up your child. Please pick up at 12:00. If a different person is picking up your child, you will need to be sure they have the tag in their possession to pick up your child. 1 st -4 th Graders Group assignments will be posted in the upper level lobby (go right when you pull in to the church parking lot). Groups meet in the auditorium, in the same spot each day. Remember: You (or the person responsible for your child) will need to sign your child in and out each day. The person signing your child in and out each day must be in high school or older. Please join your child(ren) for the closing worship rally each day at 12:00 to re-cap the day s lesson and song. VBX 5 th /6 th Graders Group assignments will be posted in the upper level lobby. Groups meet in auditorium, in the same spot each day. They do not need to be signed in and out each day. Please make a plan to have a meeting spot at the end of the day or pick them up. Please join your child(ren) for the closing worship rally each day at 12:00 to re-cap the day s lesson and song. No outside pick up allowed. Adults must come into building to pick up children. No pets allowed inside the buildings.

Community Project When you do wrong Jesus rescues! Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrow. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. John 16:33 This year we will be collecting items to show our love and care for the inmates at the Jefferson County Detentions Center in partnership with the Jefferson County Sherriff's Office. We will be providing small care bags for the newly released inmates, a First Day Kit. Each registered VBS family will receive a bag on the Monday of VBS. Please return Please fill this First Day Kit with a variety of the following for the inmate in need. Please decide if your bag is for a male or female inmate and fill accordingly. $5 cash or check to Foothills Bible Church for a bus pass and the bag Travel size toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, lotion Granola bar or trail mix Chapstick Travel tissues Toothbrush and toothpaste (female) Travel Size Deodorant Travel Size Sunscreen Feminine hygiene projects (female) Note of encouragement on the provided card $5 gift card to a fast food restaurant Comb (male) or brush Join us on Friday after VBS for a Jefferson County Sherriff s Office Road Show in the church parking lot! There will be deputy sheriffs, the K9 unit, SWAT, and more for our families! 12:30 3:00 p.m. If your child would like to do additional kits, please collect and return the items in a Ziploc bag any day of VBS!
