Within 10 minutes north and south of Dresser are the communities of St. Croix Falls,WI and Osceola,WI with populations of 4,800 and 8,100 respectively. The majority of the membership of Peace Lutheran Church comes from these 3 communities. The area is ethnically homogeneous, with white representing more than 95% of the population. Dresser, St. Croix Falls and Osceola are bedroom communities, lying within 50 miles of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. As fall programs begin, we are grateful and enthusiastic about levels of participation by young people particularly in Sunday School and Youth programs. For more than 20 years, Peace Lutheran Church has partnered with Luther Seminary as a training site for interns. We hope to continue this program.
