This week we will also share Communion in remembrance of Christ s sacrifice for us. SOM INFORMATION NIGHT: The School of Ministry is now accepting applications for the 2011/2012 school year. GLOBAL ADVENTURES PRESENTATION: Please join Global Adventures as we welcome missionaries Roger and Kathy Chesebro with a presentation about their ministry in Nairobi, Kenya. RED RIVER BIKE RALLY: Join us as we share the gospel and the love of Christ at the annual Red River Bike Rally this Memorial Day weekend. BAPTISM: If you have made a confession of faith but not a public profession of your decision to follow Jesus, we encourage you to be baptized on Sunday, May 29, at 1 pm in the amphitheater. Please bring a towel and a modest swimsuit. All children who would like to be baptized are required to attend a class in the COVE at 12:45 pm. LIVING BEYOND THE DEATH OF A LOVED ONE: This class provides help and prayerful support for those who have experienced the death of a loved one by encouraging them to share their emotions and confront their grief. This eight-week series explores the bereavement process, steps toward healing, and the true nature of our relationship with God. Class is held Thursdays, beginning June 2, at 6:30 pm in rooms M19-20. JOB OPPORTUNITY: Applications are being accepted for a full-time Graphic Designer with solid graphic design and concept development skills. This individual will provide ongoing graphic design for Calvary and Connection Communications and must demonstrate a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge). Candidates for this position should have an education in Graphic Design or Advertising/Communication Art, and must have a minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in the field of graphic design. Candidates should have an updated portfolio that shows a wide range of design work (logos, page layout, concept design).
