In accordance with the Calendar of Events-2016, the National Department of Ta`limul Qur an and Waqf `Ardi is holding Canada-wide `Ashrah Ta`limul Qur an (Jan. 1-10) and 25 th National Winter Ta`limul Qur'an Classes (minimum one- day during Jan.2-4) at `Imarat/Region or Local Jama`at level. In this regard, please note as follows: The `Ashrah Program is enclosed at Annex-1 and the Ta`limul Qur'an Class Syllabus is enclosed at Annex-2, for implementation. Please note an important part of the `Ashra Progran is the campaign of participation in the Project of 313 Waqifin `Ardhi to celebrate 50th Anniversary of Jama`at Ahmadiyya Canada. Please request the respected Missionaries to provide help as teachers and the Heads of Auxiliary Organizations to motivate their members for regular participation in these Classes. The concluding session of the Class would be Jalsa Qur'an Karim on Jan. 9 or Jan. 10, 2016. All Imaraat and local Jama`ats should make their own Programs based on the enclosed Syllabus (Annex-1). All Missionaries and A immatus-salat are advised to deliver the Friday sermons on Jan.01, and Jan. 08, 2016, on "Divine Rewards of Recitation and Study Of the Holy Qur'an. Program 5 th National `Ashrah Ta`limul Qur an (1-10 January, 2016) and 25 th National Winter Ta`limul Qur'an Classes (One day Class during 8-10 Jan.2016, and Jalsa Qur'an Karim) In accordance with the Recommendation No.4 of Majlis Shura, 2011, approved by Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V aa, the National Department of Ta`limul Qur an is holding a Canadawide `Ashrah Ta`limul Qur an at Imarat/Region or Local Jama`at levels, during January 1-10, 2016, as indicated in the National Calendar of Events-2016. This Program also includes the Program of 25 th National Winter Ta`limul Qur'an Classes (Syllabus Outline Annex-2) to be held Canada-wide on any one day during 9-10 January, 2016. Salient features of this important `Ashrah Program are given below and all Imaraat and Jama`ats are advised to ensure its implementation in a befitting manner: 1. Short Introductory Session on Dec.31, 2015: Hold a short Session after Maghrib Prayer to introduce and highlight the importance of the Ashra Ta`limul Qur'an to Jama`at members for the sake of awareness. 2. Tahajjud Prayer in Congregation on Jan. 01, 2016: At the start of `Ashrah Ta`limul Qur'an and 50th Year of Jama`at Ahmadiyya Canada, please hold congregational Tahajjud Prayer on the first day (Friday) of January 2016. 3. 50 th Anniversary of Jama`at Ahmadiyya Canada- Project of 313 Waqifin `Ardhi: An important part of the celebrations of 50th Anniversary of Jama`at Canada is to offer at least 313 Waqifin `Ardhi. During the Ashra, all Jama`ats are advised to run a campaign to participate in this Project (by filling the Pledge Forms) at the rate of at least one Waqif per 20 Jama`at members. Each Waqif must offer at least one week or 3 weekends. 4. Special Campaign of Ta`limul Qur an: All Secretaries Ta`limul Qur'an are advised to run a special campaign under guidance of the Local Umaraa, Presidents and the Missionaries, as follows:
Wherever the office of Secretary Ta`limul Qur an is vacant, the Presidents are requested to nominate a member for approval by the National General Secretary. Provide full support to the Missionaries to have maximum attendance in their regular daily/weekly Ta`limul Qur'an Classes in the light of various Friday Sermons of Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V aa, especially that of August 16, 2013). Present short motivational speeches (based on Hamari Ta`lim and other books of the Promised Messiah as ) and hold Durus (after daily Prayers) of the Qur'anic Verses from the related Selections in Part-2 of Basics of Religious Education, and Ahadith related to the Holy Qur'an. Remind all Jama`at members, especially the Office Bearers, Musian and A immatus-salat to learn correct recitation and translation of the Holy Qur an, and open new regular Ta`limul Qur'an Classes wherever needed in your Jama`at. 5. 25 th National Winter Ta`limul Qur'an Classes and Jalsa Qur'an Karim: Please hold these Classes (any day during 8-10 January, 2016) as per Syllabus enclosed at Annex-2. The concluding session of the Classes would be Jalsa Qur'an-e-Karim. 6. Friday Sermons of Jan.01 and Jan.08, 2016: All A immatus-salat are advised to deliver the Friday sermon on, "Devine Rewards of Recitation and Study of the Holy Qur'an". Opening Short Presentations on: What is the Holy Qur'an? How was it Revealed? What does it Include? How does the Qur'an Improve our Life? Any other topic may be added to make the Class more interesting especially for the youth, who should be encouraged to prepare the presentations. 2. The Holy Qur an - Correct Recitation and Translation:[The Teacher will recite first, then he will recite phrase by phrase and the students will recite after him, then the students will recite turn by turn and the Teacher will make corrections.] Al-Baqarah (2:255-258) Aal-e Imran (17:24-32) Al-Kahf (18:1-13) Al-Jumu`ah Chapter 62. Concluding Session---Jalsa Qur'an-e-Karim The concluding session will be Jalsa Qur'an-e- Karim as usual. All Imaraat and local Jama`ats should make their own Programs, as they do for other Jalsas and
