Ecumenical Social Ministries has received support from First Pres for over 36 years. ESM provides 800 hot showers, 300 loads of laundry and 3,200 food items monthly to those who request assistance. First Pres helps stock the ESM pantry monthly. The next ESM Sunday is June 3. To find additional ways to support this ministry, visit www. ecusocmin.org. Volunteer ESL teachers are needed for the summer to teach adult refugee students. Training and curriculum are supplied. Volunteers must be able to plan and teach lessons and pass an extensive background check. Valuable choices are the heartbeat of the message of Life Network. On Saturday, June 2, WEEKLY PRAYER FOCUS Mission Emphasis: Dan Jessup serves as the Senior Vice President of Young Life Latin America/Caribbean. His role allows him to supervise and give leadership to 26 countries. In 2017 alone, 106,140 young people were reached in those areas. Pray for open doors for new work in Bolivia, for Puerto Rico and USVI as they continue to rebuild post-hurricanes, and for the camp buildout at Pico Escondido in the Dominican Republic as they grow camp capacity.
