Houston Conchology Society The Epitonium Volume XXV, Issue 3 November Program www.houstonshellclub.com President s Message November, 2017 At the next HCS meeting, Lucy and Jerry Clampit will share pictures and stories from their summer travels. Since they don t collect shells when they travel, it will primarily be a travelogue of their cruise to Norway and Scotland with a few pictures from Copenhagen, Denmark, and COA in Key West included. Come and enjoy! November Meeting Change The November meeting date has been changed to Tuesday the 14 th. It will be in the same classrooms as the October meeting. Happy Thanksgiving greetings to you, your families, and friends. Wishing that you are blessed with peace, health, and happiness. For our next Conchology meeting, we are asking everyone to bring his or her favorite shell. For some of you, like me, I m sure that s a tough decision to make. Most shells in my collection are my favorites, but we are asking you to bring just one of your favorites. A gift card will be given to the person who receives the most popular votes for their shell. Our special thanks to Cheryl Hood for adding the Houston Conchology Society to Facebook. We look forward to seeing y all on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at 7:00 p.m. Lucy & Jerry Clampit will present a program on their summer travels.
