Music [and Arts] Auxiliary Solidarity With the Savior: Lifting the Level of Our Praise!

Mrs. Angelique Banks-Coleman, President Dr. Haywood Robinson, Vice President, Northeast Region Rev. James J. Sampson, Vice President, Southeast Region Rev. Keith Pendilton, Vice President, Midwest Region Rev. Albert Green, Vice President, Southwest Region Ms. Velina Davenport, Vice President, Western Region Ms. Latrice Staten, Special Assistant to the President Greetings From President Coleman We are blessed to be in the great city of Orlando, Florida, home of Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Shamu. It is a city of great creativity, innovation and technology, and we will take advantage of all it has to offer. It is a city where we cannot help but celebrate our God as the Creator of all things. In the Music [and Arts] Auxiliary, we have come to give praise and honor to our Creator God. In Revelation 4:11, we read: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." He has given us talents and skills for His glory. The new music (worship) ministries are including choirs, instrumental ensembles (band, orchestra, recorder choir, hand bell choir, etc.), dance, mime, drama, visual arts, and audio-visual technology. This week we will Lift the Level of Our Praise! by becoming leaders in teaching and training our constituents how to use the creativity God has given us for His glory. Secondly, we have also come to give praise and honor to Redeemer God. Philippians 2:10-12 tells us: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. We will Lift the Level of Our Praise! by celebrating the finished work of Christ on the cross, and the joyful salvation and security it brings. Finally, we have come to give praise and honor to Sustainer God. In John 16:13-14 we read:

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. This week we will Lift the Level of Our Praise! by being biblically based and doctrinally sound in magnifying our God. We understand that worship is not about us, but about the God we serve. We invite you to join us in this lifting venture! We promise you that God will be glorified and the people of God will be edified to return to their home churches with fresh inspiration, enriching education and unwavering dedication to continue Lifting the Level of Our Praise. May God s richest spiritual blessings be yours this week!
