THIRTY-SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME This year s Holiday Bazaar was one of the most successful we ve ever had. Thank you to everyone who made treats for the Bake Sale Table and contributed to the White Elephant. Many volunteers offered their time and energy, and wide attendance from parishioners and the rest of the community made for a great day! BI-MONTHLY HEALING MASS ON NOVEMBER 20 AT SAINT JOSEPH CATHEDRAL: A Mass of Healing and Healing Service will be celebrated on Monday, November 20, 6:30p.m. at Saint Joseph Cathedral, 212 East Broad Street. Following the Mass, a Service of Healing will begin with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Veneration of relic of the True Cross of Christ, followed by an opportunity for each person to speak individually with a priest and receive prayers of healing for what they seek; the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick will also be available. The Service of Healing will conclude with Benediction. All persons who seek Christ s healing are invited especially those who suffer with physical illness and infirmities (e.g. cancer and other debilitating diseases and conditions), in addition to those in seek emotional and spiritual healing. Parking is available at the rear of the Cathedral accessible off East Gay Street; handicap accessible elevator is located in the courtyard (west side of the Cathedral) on East Broad Street. The Religious Ed Department is collecting non-perishable food items for the Heart to Heart Food Pantry located at First Community Church! With your support, we have been able to help needy families in our community. Please contact Pat Feamster @ 459-3683 or 657-2375 with any questions. CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT TREE INSTRUCTIONS: 1). Remove and take the ornament for the gift that you wish to purchase. 2). You keep the sticker which has the gift you will purchase. Remove the index card and sign with your name, phone number and e-mail. Put the card in the basket provided. 3). Wrap the gift and return the gift to the vestibule with the ornament securely attached to the gift. (The ornament identifies who is to receive the gift). 4). Please provide the gift receipt because clothing items may not fit and toys don t always work. 5). Please return the gifts by Sunday, December 17. 6). Please include batteries or other items that may be needed to use the gift. 7). Please put gift cards in gift bags so they are not lost.

Now is the time for our fall fundraiser for the MISSIONARY CHILDHOOD ASSOCIATION CHILDREN HELPING CHILDREN All Religious Ed families along with the Parish are asked to attend this event on Sunday, November 19 from Noon to 1:30pm in the Parish Life Center. Accepting donations only for this event! We will be serving Sloppy Joes, Chips, Fresh Apple Slices, Pumpkin and Apple Pie, Brownies, and Fall Iced Cookies, along with Hot Coffee and Cider! Special thanks to the OLV Knights of Columbus for providing the Sloppy Joes and Chips for us. Please thank them for their participation in our event. Bring your families and have a wonderful Fall Sunday lunch and help the Missionary Childhood Association.
