Questions of the Grave Class 10 26 Muharram 1948/October 27, 2014 Review: Why do we have to talk about the Questions of the Grave while we are alive?that time when we die, no one will tell us. We have to prepare for these questions when we are alive. If there is an exam, and the exam has 3 questions. What will you do? Prepare! The answer to these three questions are just one word. Man Rubuka? Allah Man Deenuka? Islam Man Nabiyuka? Muhammad But we need to prepare in order to answer these questions quickly. Some people take too long. There is no time to look in your notes. You will answer by how you acted in the life. Some people will take too long. Either you answer it, you don t answer it, or you are hesitant. Rabbaniy- Allah is the One that nurtures you and nurture everyone. How does Allah nurture you? With life, with people, with ayah. Allah is Ma3bood, we need to worship Him. How will you worship Him? Dua, rajaa, hope, to Him. Now, the next question is ma deenuka? Al-Islam You need to know Al-Islam, Ma3rifutul Islam with what? Adillah= need an evidence. Last time we talked about Islam is the religion that Allah is pleased with, Allah chose. For everyone to be a Muslim. It is not only the religion of Nabi SalAllahu alayhi wa salam, it is the religion of all the Messengers. We have the Surah Al- Imran, everything in this universe is submitting to who? Allah.
Everything is submitting to Allah willing wa karha, unwillingly. One type of Muslimeen is taw3ah- willingly. There are other Muslimeen karha- unwillingly, but they are not considered Muslims. There are Muslims by force. They are submitting to the will of Allah. Today we talk about Al-Islam: What does it mean? How can willingly submit to deen Al-Islam? Need to have 3 components (if one of them are not there then we are not willingly Muslim). How do we surrender to Allah? 1) Surrender to Allah with your heart with Tawheed = La ilaha il Allah (No one is provider except Allah, No one is perfect except Allah, etc.) You need to be Muslim from the heart first. - Can we judge people, you are Muslim you are not? No, we accept them as what they show. This topic is for ownselves. You deal with people with what they show you. 2) Al Istislaam billah bi At-taa3ah- - Surrender to Allah with outside. Pray, fast, good deeds, do what Allah told you and abstain with what Allah said. - Cannot surrender my body without surrendering my heart. - Who is deen Al-Islam? The ones who surrender to Islam inside and outside, should be the same. - Some person said I m believer in the heart and there is no action, but Islam is both, surrender the heart with obedience. - We don t do anything except by His command. Wa hum bi amri ya3maloon. - If He didn t tell me, I don t do it. I don t make up my own Ibaadah. Whatever Allah told me, I will just obey. Whatever Allah forbade me, I will just obey. 3) If someone don t have #3 it will nullify 1 & 2: Al-Baraa min Al-Kufr wa Ahli Al-Kufr - Al-Barra=Freedom from, meaning you need to release them.
- So Islam, you enter Islam but you take a souvenir from the previous religion. When you submit to Allah, don t accept 2 jobs, 2 gods. It s like someone you are going to hire someone in a very important position, you ask them are you already working somewhere? If you are, then sorry, I cannot accept you. It might lead to problems. - You cannot be Muslim and still celebrate from previous religions, have chains, loyalty to the previous religion. There needs to be freedom from the disbelief. - Removing anything reminder of previous religion? How? Celebration, is a big reminder. Chain, idols, places, people, whatever it is, you need to remove it. Otherwise your Islam is not perfect. You cannot have two hearts at one person. - Some jobs that are not enough for you, they will allow you to take two jobs. But Islam is filling your life, cannot accept other jobs, other things. Kuffri from disbelief. - And the people of Kufr = Before, I socialize with ahlul kufr, but now, I m afraid to come back to the sickness again. I m not going to go to environment that will be more sick. - Islam is like a cure. - To move any trace of disbelief, what kind be reminder? Celebration, idols, places, people, need to be removed - You cannot have two hearts in one body لا الھ الا الله That s why - Remove anything else (negation) from your heart - Except Allah - Yuqalli- meaning remove everything in your heart - Sometimes we have trouble submitting because our heart is occupied with something else.

The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. (2:256) Ikraaha- إ ك ر اه - no compulsion, no force in religion. You cannot force people to accept Islam, pray, etc. If you push too hard than they might turn away. Push other Shirk away first. We are struggling with submission because there is something already occupying the heart, deny and release Taghoot (anybody that you raise to a position than they deserve). Taghoot- like shaytan, firaun they make themselves higher than what they are. Can angels and messengers by taghoot? No, because they don t accept people elevating them. First, Disbelieve in Taghoot, then secondly, believe in Allah. - 3urwah- rope with a tight knot ---Nothing can break it, even a 1 ب ال ع ر و ة million kilos will not undo this knot. So who is going to hold on this? Those who remove the taghoot, and believe Allah. This person is so holding on strongly. Taghoot makes us slip. I think he can hold me, but he cannot hold me. Anyone who attaches to anything other than Allah is like a falling person.
There are 3 levels of Islam: All the 3 levels of Islam go to Paradise: - Analogy to student.: Islam is like if you are doing a project, you read it, feel it and write it. Iman is like reading, feel, and write it and believe it. Third person, Ihsan I want to read it, feel it, write it, make it look nice, etc. 1) In the first level, Islam, I did my project. I prayed, I didn t hurt anyone, etc. Minimum 2) In Iman, there is a feeling. 3) Ihsan, you are doing it beautifully and excellently. As if you don t see people, you do it for Allah alone. Islam is like a house. Iman is the foundation Ihsan is how beautiful is your house. You cannot have Ihsan without Iman without Islam. You cannot have something beautiful without believe in it. Like someone who buy the project from someone else, hypocrites are like those who buy the project from others. SubhanAllah!
