Koinonia Institute Small Group Fellowship ISSACHAR REPORT The Week of April 20, 2015 Dan Stolebarger
Scary Headlines Anyone care to translate? Over 35 Christians beheaded 1. Iran marks Army Day with cries of Death to Israel, US 2. Islamic State video shows mass murderers of Christians in Libya (35)
Obama s Double Standard Why is the Obama Administration less upset with Russia for hacking into the White House and State Department computers than it is with Israel for spying into its negotiations with Iran? Then again this is the same administration which is less angry with Iran for chanting "Death to America" than with Netanyahu for saying there would be no Palestinian state under his watch. This is the same administration that is less upset with ISIS for beheading Americans than it is with Israel for having the nerve to reelect Netanyahu.
US Veto Ending? The Obama administration could propose anti-israel resolutions at the UN, US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power told Congress. Speaking to the foreign operations subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee, Power said that the US would continue to support Israel when it matters. Several members of the committee expressed concern about suggestions that the US would no longer use its veto power to protect Israel from condemnation at the UN.
Terror Tunnels vs Resident Homes Hamas has accelerated the rebuilding of its terror tunnels, which were destroyed last summer during Operation Protective Edge, even as it neglects rebuilding homes that were damaged during its war against Israel, The Times of Israel reported today. The Gaza-based terrorist organization has been using whatever cement it can get its hands on for the construction of the tunnels, and fortifying the walls of its underground structures with wood as well....meanwhile, the physical and economic situation of Gaza s residents hasn t changed much. Heavy rains earlier this week left several main streets in the Strip flooded. The Rafah border crossing from the Gaza Strip into Egypt remains shut. The general reconstruction of Gaza continues to be delayed, and the rebuilding of 17,000 houses to replace the those destroyed during Operation Protective Edge has not yet started either.
Iran - Suppliers of Terror Iranian weapons shipments to Hezbollah and Hamas have increased in the wake of the framework nuclear deal with the P5+1.Iran has increased weapons shipments to Hezbollah and Hamas over the past several weeks, Israeli officials revealed. The news comes shortly after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he was resuming missile sales to Iran.
Explosion of Hatred Jewish communities around the world faced an "explosion of hatred" last year, with the number of violent anti-semitic attacks rising by 38 percent, according to an annual report released by the Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry at Tel Aviv University released on Wednesday, the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day. Many Jews feel like "they are facing an explosion of hatred toward them as individuals, their communities, and Israel, as a Jewish state," wrote the researchers.
Hamas Lion Cubs The little boy, no older than five, is seen in full military fatigues holding an actual automatic rifle, with the accompanying text reading "these are our lion cubs.we have brought them up on the love of Jihad and Shahada (martyrdom-death)," as translated by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW). In encouraging child soldiers to fight for jihad, Hamas and Fatah share a similarity with yet another Arab terrorist organization - Islamic State (ISIS). ISIS has entire child soldier brigades dubbed the "Cubs of the Caliphate. ISIS's own "cubs" are regularly sent to take part in intelligence-gather and suicide missions - and have even carried out executions, including beheadings.
Egypt to Israel - Trust God and Bomb Iran! An Egyptian television personality sent Israel some strong signs of support for any possible Jewish state move that could lead to an attack on Iran, telling Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu bluntly: Go ahead and bomb. Egypt's Tawfik Okasha reacted to the ongoing U.S.-Tehran discussions on national television, first calling Netanyahu "our dear friend" and then pressing Israel to take out the Bushehr nuclear reactor, CBN reported. "Put your trust in God and bomb it," Okasha said. "We are with you and if you need fuel for the jets, we will give it to you."
Don t Blame Israel - PA Does Not Want Peace Of all the foolishness uttered in reaction to Benjamin Netanyahu's stunning election victory, none is more ubiquitous than the idea that peace prospects are now dead because Netanyahu has declared that there will be no Palestinian state while he is Israel 's Prime Minister. I have news for the lowing herds: There would be no peace and no Palestinian state if Isaac Herzog were Prime Minister of Israel, or Ehud Barak or Ehud Olmert for that matter. This is not ancient history. This is 2000, 2001 and 2008 - three astonishingly concessionary peace offers within the last 15 years. Every one rejected (by the PA leadership, and followed by violence and terror attacks unleashed on Israel!). The fundamental reality remains: This generation of Palestinian leadership - from Yasser Arafat to Mahmoud Abbas - has never and will never sign its name to a final peace settlement dividing the land with a Jewish state. And without that, no Israeli government of any kind will agree to a Palestinian state. by Charles Krauthammer

Koinonia Institute Small Group Fellowship BEREAN DEVOTIONAL The Week of April 20, 2015 Dan Stolebarger
Berean Devotional I call this. keepin it real! Have you noticed how that Jesus had issues with those who had a religious spirit? 4 For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. 6 They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, 7 greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. I have been noticing that the longer I walk with Jesus that my prayers are getting shorter and much simpler. 16 Woe to you, blind guides, who say, Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it. 17 Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? RED LIGHT FLASHING. Money, Money, Money - for the love of money
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men s bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. 25 Jesus just keepin it real! Walk your Talk!
