Dear People of St. Patrick Parish, Our Responsorial Psalm, This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad. Why should we be so happy, rejoicing and glad? We are Christians who believe in Jesus Christ, we accept His way of life, His teachings and who He is. Jesus said He would die, be buried and rise again. Today, we remember that first Easter and the empty tomb. He has risen as He said. We are happy because Jesus also said that if we would love God and our neighbor and be good people, one day we also would rise from the dead. A great promise to be had, but we must do our part to make it happen. One day our soul will be re-united with our body and the whole us will be with God in heaven along with those who listened to His words, believed and said, Yes to God. As Catholics, we look at a lamb and think of Jesus as the sacrificial lamb who gave His life for us. We come to Mass and receive the Lamb of God in Holy Communion. The joy of Easter gives us great hope for our world. We do experience difficult times in our lives but we have hope that things can change. We are happy and we do not let the evils of the world take that away from us. On behalf of our St. Patrick staff, we wish you a Blessed and Happy Easter as well as great joy. God Bless, A Message from our Pastor Larry Young Pastor
