Your donations are definitely appreciated. The ADA bathroom is a very important part of Edgerton Congregational UCC and because of your generosity, hard work and caring the ADA bathroom is going to happen and you are a part of it. Make sure you feel good about that. A HUGE THANK YOU! AMEN. REV. LORA S FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE GOAL FOR UCC S NEW ADA BATHROOM HAS BEEN MET Remember this challenge Rev. Lora made... IF we meet, or exceed the $2,500 goal by April 3rd I will wear a dress and makeup for worship on Sunday, April 10th. Rev. Lora has been shopping for a new dress and Mary Lou Behring is going to assist Rev. Lora with her makeup. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this challenge successful and it will be a fun celebration worship service on Sunday, April 10 th at 10:30am. Standing room only? Bring your cameras for this historic event!

A big thank you to all those who helped with the Edgerton Congregational UCC Easter celebration! Whatever you did, even if it was just to come to worship you were an important part of the UCC celebration. Don t you just love Easter egg hunts? Thank you to those who helped stuff the Easter eggs with goodies for the UCC hunt. It is so much fun for everyone. On a side note: I have to share this. I got to my church choir room on Easter Sunday morning to rehearse for the 10:30 service and of course the Easter egg hunt was over. However, one of the choir members spotted an orange Easter egg that had not been found by the children underneath the folding chair cart. Literally, you would have thought the church choir discovered gold! Thank you guys for another great annual Easter Morning Pancake breakfast. Good food and a good time enjoyed by all. You are fantastic and do great work! Thank you for all those who donated Easter flowering plants in loving memory and/or honor for the Easter worship service. The flowers help to make the worship service very meaningful and beautiful.

Tracy Tronnes has graciously taken over the job of receiving the Scrip Cards from Fed Ex and delivering the cards to church so there will be no more delays. 2016 Annual Meeting of the Southwest Wisconsin Association United Church of Christ First Congregational United Church of Christ 31 Milwaukee Avenue W Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin www.fortfcc.org April 16, 2016-Registration begins at 8:30 A.M. Adjournment at 3:00 P.M. Theologian John Shelby Spong Returns to Trinity UCC Brookfield 4435 North Calhoun Road Brookfield, WI 53005 262-781-9378 contact@trinitybrookfield.org Many of us have had the distinct pleasure of hearing John Shelby Spong, author and theologian, preach at several of our morning services in the past, and have heard thought-provoking lectures in the afternoon. He will be returning to the pulpit at Trinity on April 17 for the morning service. During the afternoon lecture at 1:45 p.m., he will be speaking about his latest book, Biblical Literalism: A Gentile Heresy. Please plan to attend both the service and the afternoon lecture to hear a great speaker and to be challenged by the thoughts of a progressive theologian who is easy to listen to and always thought-provoking.
