TREATS FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS! We are putting together College Student care packages for finals week, some suggested items are: individual crackers, packages of cookies that will travel well, bars, packages of gum, fruit snacks, microwave popcorn, other ideas you may have that you believe will help a college student as they study for finals. Items need to be at the church no later than May 9 so we may put the boxes together. If you have small boxes suitable for mailing that would be helpful also. We have approximately 10-12 students. Any?? Contact Pastor Nancy Will continue to meet first Sunday of month. t, Lindsborg has a well-kept secret, maybe more than one. This one concerns food and feeding those who are hungry. We have a government commodity program in town administered by the Senior Center. There are income guidelines to receive this food but you don t have to fill out any forms and each family may receive a box of food once a month, and there are no age restrictions. You don t have to be an elder to receive these commodities. The income guidelines are for household size and are posted on the bulletin board in the hall. Preferred hours for commodity distribution at the Senior Center are Monday through Thursday 9-11:00 A.M. Other arrangements may be made by calling the Senior Center. Coming soon DANCE, STAND, RUN NEW Women s Bible study beginning in May. We are all daughter s of God, so come learn how to dance, stand and run in that grace! A study guide book is required for the class and is $7.99 each, see Nancy so one can be ordered for you! Class begins Monday, May 14 th at 6:30pm.
