HUMILITY (Versus: Pride) Galatians 6:14; James 4:6 Recognizing that God and others are actually responsible for the achievements in my life. INITIATIVE (Versus: Unresponsiveness) Romans 12:21 Recognizing and doing what needs to be done before I am asked to do it. JOYFULNESS (Versus: Self-pity) Proverbs 15:13; Proverbs 29:6 The exultation of my inward being that results from genuine harmony with God and with others. LOVE (Versus: Selfishness) John 15:12-13; 1 Corinthians 13:3 Giving to others' basic needs without having as my motive personal reward. LOYALTY (Versus: Unfaithfulness) John 15:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 Using adversity to confirm my commitment to those whom God has called me to serve. MEEKNESS (Versus: Anger) Proverbs 15:18; Romans 14:19; Psalms 62:5 Yielding my personal rights and expectations to God. OBEDIENCE (Versus: Willfulness) 2 Corinthians 10:5; 1 Peter 2:18 Freedom to be creative under the protection of divinely appointed authority. ORDERLINESS (Versus: Disorganization) 1 Corinthians 14:40; Titus 1:5 Preparing myself and my surroundings, so that I will achieve the greatest efficiency. PATIENCE (Versus: Restlessness) Romans 5:3-4; James 1:3-4 Accepting a difficult situation from God without giving Him a deadline to remove it. PERSEVERANCE (Versus: Giving up) 2 Timothy 3:14; Hebrews 12:2 Continuing steadfastly in a task in spite of difficulty or opposition. PERSUASIVENESS (Versus: Contentiousness) 2 Corinthians 5:11; 2 Timothy 2:24 Guiding vital truths around another's mental roadblocks. PUNCTUALITY (Versus: Tardiness) Ecclesiastes 3:1; Ephesians 5:16 Showing high esteem for other people and their time. RESOURCEFULNESS (Versus: Wastefulness) Luke 16:10: John 6:12 Wise use of that which others would normally overlook or discard.

RESPONSIBILITY (Versus: Unreliability) Romans 14:12 Knowing and doing what both God and others are expecting from me. REVERENCE (Versus: Disrespect) Psalm 89:7; Proverbs 19:23 Awareness of how God is working through people and events in my life to produce Christ s character in me. SECURITY (Versus: Anxiety) John 6:27; Philippians 1:6 Structuring my life around what is eternal and cannot be destroyed or taken away. SELF-CONTROL (Versus: Self-indulgence) Galatians 5:24-25 Instant obedience to the initial prompting of God's Spirit.
