Andy Stanley DVD Series Balanced In this six-session study, you ll be challenged to examine what you really believe about finances and faith: What does the Bible say about money? What is your primary objective when it comes to your personal finances? Can you survive without debt? Should you spend, save, or give the extra money you have? Are you content with what you have? Are you giving God your leftovers? This study is filled with insightful perspectives and practical exercises to build a biblical foundation for just about every aspect of your finances. Part One: "Opening the Books" - Matthew 6:21, Luke 16:13 - (Andy Stanley) Part Two: "Reading the Fine Print" - 1 Chronicles 21:10-14 - (Andy Stanley) Part Three: "Back in the Black" - Deuteronomy 28:12, Proverbs 22:7, 25:28 - (Andy Stanley) Part Four: "Creating a New Line Item" - Luke 12:16-21,33 - (Andy Stanley) Part Five: "Managing Your Expenses" - 1 Timothy 6:6-11, 18-19 - (Andy Stanley) Part Six: "Developing a Plan" - Malachi 3:7-10, Matthew 6:24, 31-33, Mark 12:43-44 - (Andy Stanley) Breakaway None of us sets out to be like everybody else, but it happens. Life begins to squeeze us into a mold until one day we wake up feeling trapped. Unfortunately many people think the answer is to run away, but they only end up making the same bad decisions over and over again. How do you break the cycle and break out of the crowd? Andy Stanley will renovate your thinking by exposing you to four core beliefs that have the power to change the trajectory of your life. Six-part series. Romans 12:2; John 8:31-32; 1 Chronicles 29:11-14; Psalm 33:8-11; Proverbs 19:21; Jeremiah 17:9 1

Community: Starting Well in your Small Group Because you can t grow spiritually unless you re connected relationally. God designed you that way. He wants to use other people to grow you, and he wants to use you to grow other people. During this eight-week study specifically designed for new small groups you ll explore how building deep relationships with the people in your group and serving the larger community around you will grow your faith. You ll learn why your unique story matters to God and to the people you do life with. Community provides a great opportunity for you to grow in your relationship with God, because life is better connected. This DVD is designed to be used with the Community Participant Guide. Sessions 5 and 6 do not include video content. Weeks 4, 5, and 6 are reserved for small group participants to share their stories with the group. Destinations In this four-part series Destinations, Andy Stanley examines the disconnect between our dreams and the paths we take to reach them that our direction, not our intentions, determines our destinations. Then, in the two-part series Boulevard of Broken Dreams, we learn how we should react when our dreams can't ever come true Game Plan Discovering God s plan for our lives can be frustrating. Some have described it as the most challenging experience of the Christian life. But it shouldn t be. It doesn t have to be. After all, God is the preeminent communicator. He created communication. And as your heavenly Father, he wants you to know his will for your life. 2

In this 6-part series, Andy Stanley and Jeff Henderson explain, in the most practical ways imaginable, how to discover and embrace God s game plan for your life. Guardrails [Guardrails: a system designed to keep vehicles from straying into dangerous or off-limit areas.] They're everywhere, but they don't really get much attention... until somebody hits one. And then, more often than not, it is a lifesaver. Ever wonder what it would be like to have guardrails in other areas of your life areas where culture baits you to the edge of disaster and then chastises you when you step across the line? Your friendships. Your finances. Your marriage. Maybe your greatest regret could have been avoided if you had established guardrails. In this 6-part series, Andy Stanley challenges us to stop flirting with disaster and establish some personal guardrails. - Six full-length messages from Andy Stanley Session Titles: 1. Direct and Protect (Ephesians 5:15-17) 2. Why Can t We Be Friends (Proverbs 13:20) 3. Flee Baby Flee! (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) 4. Me and the Mrs." (Proverbs 27:12) 5. The Consumption Assumption" (Matthew 6:33) 6. Once And For All (Proverbs 11:3) How to Be Rich You can find plenty of advice on how to get rich. But where do you learn to be rich? And how do you define "rich" in the first place? In this four-part series, Andy Stanley moves beyond the "get rich" mentality and explains God's instructions for the vast majority of us who are already blessed with more than we need. 1 Tim. 6:17-19; Prov. 18:11; Eccl. 5:10; Matt. 6:24; Luke 12:13-21 3

imarriage Standing at the altar, we all had a picture of what our marriage would look like. The problem is this picture of marriage results in expectations that we unload on our spouse. The weight of these expectations will rob your marriage of love and joy. As a spouse you never feel like you measure up and you never feel like you are good enough. So what are you to do with your expectations? You can't deny them, because most expectations started out as God-given desires. In this series, Andy Stanley explains that you must learn to transform your expectations and look to God if you are to experience marriage as it was designed. The DVD also includes six study sessions. Message titles are "Keeping My 'I' On You," "It Takes Three," and "Putting Your 'I' Out." 1 Peter 3:1-2, 7, 5:6-7; Ephesians 5:21, 33 It Came from Within Where did that come from? You know, that horrible, sinking feeling you have when something comes out of your mouth that you didn't expect that is just so unlike you. Did you know those words are a reflection of a bigger problem lurking beneath the surface? "For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks," states Matthew 12:33. The scary truth is that the words you "accidentally" speak and the actions you later regret are actually in keeping with what's hiding in your heart. In this 5-part series, Andy Stanley examines four conditions of the heart that are the root of sour attitudes, hurt-filled relationships, and regretful actions: guilt, jealousy, greed, and anger. These messages will help you fight these creatures where they live by going right to the heart of the matter. This DVD is also enhanced with five curriculum study sessions that can be used for small groups or individual study. Prov. 4:23; James 5:16; 1 Cor. 13:4; Matt. 6:21; Eph. 4:26 27 4

Judgment Call Most of us are familiar with Jesus instructions not to judge others. But what exactly did he mean? Are we supposed to look away when a close friend or family member is doing something dishonest or immoral? Are there times when it is wrong not to judge? In this four-part series, Andy Stanley tackles this confusing and often misunderstood topic. We learn the steps to take before confronting othersand how to react when someone judges us. Matt. 7:1-5, 18:12-17; Luke 6:35-36, 23:34-39; 1 Cor. 5:1-5, 9-13 Life Apps There are hundreds of thousands of phone apps available for download. These apps can be used to wake you up, to show you where to shop, to help you count calories, or to log your exercise minutes. But they can t actually make you get up, control your spending, manage your diet, or force you to exercise. The App Store isn t the only place you can find apps. Did you know that the Bible has also given us many apps to enhance and improve our lives? In this 6-part series, Life Apps, Andy Stanley and Jeff Henderson identify five life applications worth living by. Part One: Application is Everything - James 1:22-24 - (Andy Stanley) Part Two: The Forgiveness App - Romans 12:17-18 - (Jeff Henderson) Part Three: The Confession App - James 5:16 - (Andy Stanley) Part Four: The Rest App - James 1:22-24 - (Jeff Henderson) Part Five: The Trust App - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - (Andy Stanley) Part Six: The Encouragement App - Proverbs 11:25 - (Jeff Henderson) 5

Lost When it comes to personal finances, it is easy to be lost and not even know it. Some of us start off with bad maps or perhaps take an accidental wrong turn or maybe get distracted by something we think we need. Whatever the reason, once we realize we are lost, how can we find our way back? The task can be daunting, but the good news is that God has given us clear directions to guide the way. In this 6-part series, Andy Stanley walks us through some of Jesus counter-cultural teachings about money management and reveals the truth that we cant wholeheartedly follow Christ when were lost financially. Thats why Jesus said more about this subject than any other. Six messages: "A Sudden Realization," "Moving to Higher Ground," "Flashback," "You Are Not Alone," "Finding Shelter," and "Rescued" Matt. 6:21; Luke 12:15; Luke 16:11; Prov. 22:7; 1 Tim. 6:6; Prov. 28:26 Pause Temptation isn't new. From the apple in the garden, to the guy with the cute smile, to the slightly illegitimate business deal, we all face temptation. But why can't we just walk away? In this 4-part series, Andy Stanley takes a closer look at the temptations Jesus faced in the desert to identify the driving forces behind the temptations we face every day. Once we realize what is behind temptation, and what is at stake every time we're tempted, we can find the confidence to respond as Jesus did. Romans 6:14; Matthew 4:4, 7, 10 Permission to Speak Freely What if we've missed it? Could it be that there is more to prayer than we thought? Two thousand years ago, Jesus pulled His disciples aside and taught them to pray. In examining His instructions, we find a disconnect between His teaching and the way we typically approach prayer. We 6

discover that there are some things about prayer we think are important but aren't, and there are some things we don't think are important that are. In this three-part series, Andy Stanley unpacks the words of Jesus to help us understand what God had in mind when He gave us the ability and the opportunity to talk to Him. Part One: "I Can Hear You Now" - Matthew 6:8 - (Andy Stanley) Part Two: "Making Your Minutes Count" - Matthew 6:9-13 - (Andy Stanley) Part Three: "Speed Dial" - Luke 11:9 - (Andy Stanley) Staying in Love We all know what s required to fall in love... a pulse. Falling in love is easy, but staying there, that s something else entirely. With more than a thousand matchmaking services available today and new ones springing up all the time, finding a romantic match can be easier than ever. But staying together with the one you ve found seems to be the real challenge. So is it possible for two people to fall in love and actually stay there? Absolutely! Learn how in this fourpart DVD by pastor and author Andy Stanley. This DVD is designed to be used with the accompanying study guide. Each of the four sessions features 15-20 minutes of teaching from Andy Stanley. Church Leaders: DVD also includes materials to promote the series at your church. Philippians 2:3-8; Proverbs 4:23; 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Take it to the Limit A six-part message series for those whose schedules are too full and whose checking accounts are too empty! Our culture encourages us to live as if we have no limits. So we fill up our schedules and empty our bank accounts. Life without margin is a recipe for personal disaster. Margin is the space between your current performance and your limits. When you reach the limit of your resources, strength, capacity or selfcontrol, you have no margin. The consequences of margin-less living are most apparent in our relationships. Love, intimacy, and friendship happen in the unstructured, unhurried world of margin. Together, we will explore God's answer to our self-destructive propensity to live as if we have no limits. 7

Taking Care of Business Work. For most people, it's a necessity. For some, it's a passion. And for others, it's a four-letter word to be avoided as much as possible. But for all of us, only one perspective on work really matters: God's. In this six-part series, Andy Stanley addresses specific problem areas we're all familiar with from dealing with coworkers and superiors while exemplifying Christ, to balancing our work and home life. Six-part series. Colossians 3:22-4:1; Daniel 3; Philippians 2:3 The Best Question Ever We've all made some pretty dumb decisions in our lives. There's money we wish we had never spent, relationships we had never started and perhaps a few invitations we had never accepted. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to reverse the bad decisions of the past. But there is certainly no reason to repeat them either. This six-part series focuses our attention on one question that has the power to fool proof our decision making from this point forward. The Legend of Joe Jacobson Joseph's life never lacked turmoil. At different times, he was an abandoned brother, a slave, an accused rapist, a prisoner, and Pharaoh's right-hand man. Yet he handled all of these situations confident in the knowledge that God was with him. At every turn, Joseph had opportunities to blame or ignore God, but his faith never wavered. In this three-part series, Andy Stanley examines how Joseph responded to being abandoned and imprisoned and how he reacted at the height of his success when an opportunity for revenge arrived on his doorstep. By studying Joseph's turbulent life, we learn the power of unwavering faith in the midst of the most trying circumstances. Featuring a hilarious take on the major events of Joseph's life, this series will entertain and inspire you. 8

Twisting the Truth The most dangerous lies are the ones you never notice. Common but deadly deceptions impact you every day. They can twist your thinking in ways you d never expect and leave you with a life you never imagined. Your ability to recognize them can spell the difference between happiness and the loss of all you hold dear. Do you see them? In this six-session small group video experience, Andy Stanley exposes some common ways Gods truth gets twisted. Each one has the potential to destroy your relationships, cloud your decisions, and distort your perception of him. This study helps us discover the ways the truth gets twisted in our lives and culture and, more importantly, how we can recognize and overcome them. Your Move Throughout our lives, we are confronted with decisions we never anticipated having to make relationship decisions, career decisions, financial decisions, parenting decisions the list goes on and on. To complicate matters further, the timeframe for making a decision is often short and our options limited. Regardless, a decision must be made. So, what do you do when it s your move and you aren t sure what to do? In this four-part DVD, Andy Stanley offers four powerful questions that will help you determine your best move. This DVD is designed to be used with the accompanying study guide. Each of the four sessions features 15-20 minutes of teaching from Andy Stanley 9

You ve got Style Fashion - home decor - accents and attitudes - different ways of expressing ourselves. We call it style and we all have one. Even the way we draw near to God has a style. Quiet - loud - outside - within - in word or deed. Our expressions of worship can be as varied as we are, but which way is the right way? This four-part series by Andy Stanley explores the various styles of drawing near to God. The answers may surprise you! 10
