Heartbeat INDIAN HILLS COMMUNITY CHURCH May 31, 2015 Girls of Grace has New Leadership! The Lord has provided abundantly! Steve and Gail DeRiese will be taking over as Leaders in the Girls of Grace Program. Steve and Gail DeRiese with daughters Madison and McKenna What do they bring to the program? A love for the Lord, a strong conviction that every decision should be taken to the Lord in prayer, experience working with children and especially girls, and a heart for the salvation of these young ladies. How can you pray for the ministry? Pray for a smooth transition, pray for the salvation of each girl who comes through the program, pray for wisdom for Steve and Gail as they lead and guide, pray for the girls to understand what the grace of God truly looks like in a life and finally pray for abundant spiritual growth for the girls. So please add Steve and Gail to your weekly prayer list. We are excited to see how the Lord will use them in this ministry. Thank you for joining us in worship this last Sunday in May. Our hope is that your heart will be encouraged by the Lord through the teaching of His Word. All the classes, programs, services and materials we offer are designed to help you discover God s Truth and grow in His image. Our prayer is that each one s walk with the Lord will be enriched through the teaching of God s Word, and in turn, we will reach out and minister to those God puts in our path. Heartbeat 3

No subject of greater significance or importance to the child of God is revealed in Scripture than the Melchizedekian Priesthood of Jesus Christ. The Melchizedekian Priesthood involves Christ s work of redemption in offering a sacrifice that was sufficient to take care of sins forever. This work of Christ is what enables a believer to come with confidence into the presence of God. Join Gil Rugh in this study and see why everything we do as believers is based upon the work of Christ. This role of believerpriest is of utmost importance to those who have been redeemed and established as priests before God. Throughout this study, believers are encouraged to live in a way that honors the Lord, functioning as priests to God, whereby all activities are viewed as sacrifices to Him. The Melchizedekian Priesthood of Christ is a reprint of Gil s dissertation. It is free and available in the lobby book racks. Heartbeat 7
